Unable to damage anything
Just got into U50 with my arcanist and set her up with class masteries and the seasoned difficulty. Went out into the world and am not doing any damage at all to enemies! Like none. Something is amiss... Switched back to normal difficulty and doing damage again. Well, shoot.

Update: per someone else's suggestion, I switched zones and it's working as expected.3

Toanis✭✭✭✭✭Same here, all my chars load in with master difficulty. Setting it to "Normal", I do only 30% damage which would be right for Master difficulty and any higher difficulty setting does 0 damage.
After dying and respawning at a wayshrine, relogging or traveling to another zone, the difficulty works as intended.

✭I had the same issue. Logged in and I was set to Master by default, switched back over to Seasoned then Normal (couldn't switch from Master to Normal for some reason), but I was still getting killed in one or two hits. Logged out then back in and it went back to what I'm used to.I'm a man of few words. Any questions?NA/PC server0 -

Just sounds like Yet another Patch Day bug that hasn't been properly tested out.7 -

This wasn't intentional and is a bug. The intended functionality is everyone should be set to Adventurer or whichever difficulty was last selected upon logging in.Gina Bruno

It would be great if crafting nodes increased their drops with challenge difficulty increases.The Vegemite Knight1 -

I did do the suggested method of choosing a difficulty level and then changed zone.
I could then do damage AND the selected difficulty was retained.0
