But in any case, all addons add some sort of advantage over non-addon players. It's up to you if you want to use it or not. I remember you treated manual gear swapping as an interesting part of the game, as a separate minigame, if you will. So keep doing that. I keep using WW which is perfectly fine by ZOS. Has been for a very long time.

If you are using the same mundus stone and curse it sure would be nice yeah. If it can be done with the UI why not. Saves me the headache of screenshotting or writing down every champion point etc for a build or in my case.. just not bothering to change it, which isn't ideal looking at the difficulty of the new content. We should encourage ease of use. Maybe even build this into the game now that the armoury station is just a glorified mundus stone and curse storage system.

Very much disagree. Without things like CCA or Bandit's attack notifications I would be at a disadvantage compared to most players. I use them to compensate for issues with my sight and dealing with some of the very subtle animations that I simply cannot see.

with your personal disadvantages it puts YOU on par, for them without your personal disadvantages it gives them a hands up over them without it .. eather way its giving out a advantage to its user

Firstly, the quote I was responding to specifically said: "all addons add some sort of advantage over non-addon players". Bringing me up to the same level as everyone else is not me gaining an advantage over non-addon players.

Secondly, it is not giving me an advantage period. It is conferring parity.

well technically with you having your personal disadvantages it kinda does give you a advantage over non use players as your disadvantages are gone and without them you would have them

being able to get over your personal disadvantages is you advantage so YES IT IS GIVING YOU SOMETHING YOU WOULD OTHERWISE NOT HAVE thats a advantage, now does your personal disadvantages off set that yes but still the same it gives you something

All addons used in gameplay give you an advantage though. Otherwise they would be pretty useless.
So are we arguing for removing one addon, or should the game just disable any API features that could affect trial scores when in a trial? I am sure that would cause a bunch of errors but what do I know.
This one addon is one of many.

So any addon that shows damage could potentially show you that something is wrong with your dps, that is an advantage to know, cut that.
Anything that tells you when to use an ability, ultimate etc. is a clear advantage, cut those.
Knowing what buffs you have without having to go to your character page to check them? Yeah can't have those, thats time saved.

Where do we draw the line between accessibility and cheating? That is purely up to zos to decide unless enough outrage happens. Looking at this thread I think this might be a vocal minority issue.

Edit: Just noticed this isn't the thread about Wizard's Wardrobe allegedly breaking the TOS. Can we get back on topic and not do this in every thread?

Lazy writ crafter does not apply to combat and leaderboards. Crutch alerts and other things need to be stricken from all leaderboard content. It has to be us getting the achievement, not someone else's software.

When you press w how many seconds before your character moves?

You really need to learn what words mean.

Giving me something I would otherwise not have is not what an advantage is. An advantage is giving me something that gives me something above what others have.

Hence, why I said: "it is not giving me an advantage period. It is conferring parity."
