How is pure class Templar in U50?

I've been struggling putting together a competitive build with my pure magplar for CP PvP (mostly for IC and 1vX), and even subclassing with Templar seems a bit underwhelming compared to some of the other combos/classes. Is there hope that the U50 pure class passives might help elevate Templar a bit in PvP? I haven't had a chance to test it out, so I'm wondering if anyone here has experimented with it a bit. Should we just hold out for the class rework later this year?

It’s bad but if you like it then play it. I know I’m going to play on my Templar in u50 because I like the class.

Templar still has some of the best healing. The usual acuity setup works very well albeit weaker than dk and werewolf (obviously). You just need to pursue stat density. Another option if they dont nerf signet is to go acuity with 2x charged and abuse the crit shattered procs (run 2x defensive mastery passives to make up from the loss of tankyness from unslotting monomyth)
