Very insightful, ZOS! You’ve finally disabled the queue for players with 100 Tel Var stones to escape from the Imperial City to Cyrodiil. What a great change, superb! Finally, this exploit is shut down and no one can abuse the mechanics to avoid PvP in the Imperial City anymore. I’m so thrilled! I’ve even decided to get a sub and buy the Season Zero content pass!

Except, things aren't quite as rosy as they seem. You blocked the queue to Cyrodiil - great! But you didn't disable the queue from Imperial City (CP) to Imperial City (Non CP)! How very convenient. Why not go even further and let us queue for the campaign we’re already in? A queue from IC (CP) to IC (CP) - brilliant!

And yes they(people who use) already have addon for use this abuse

Telvar saver has been round for years, if it was problematic then zos would have done something by now.

And they're not going to fix the queue anytime soon, pvp related "bugs" are far far down the down list of priorities for them unless it's truly game breaking.

Plus plenty of people have already voiced their opinions on it and most people want the queue out to stay.

I'm sure the majority wants to avoid being defeated in PvP. So, why don't we just make everyone immortal?

    Also, for the majority:

The majority are pve players that don't pvp enough to justify wasting their limited AP on a retreat stone that's clunky to use.

So time to just get used to the "exploit" because their right, the devs won't be fixing it anytime soon. They can't even be bothered to fix the stat bug in sub 50 BGs.

The exploit was that people could freely queue out of IC because that wasn’t the intention of the zone. It had nothing to do with people leaving fights or saving their Tel Var. That problem got solved. People who want PVP fights in IC will look for them and take them. People who don’t, won’t. If you encounter one of the ones who don’t, just move on and find someone who will.

It's not about avoiding PvP, it's about avoiding griefers and trolls. Unless ZOS does something about being stuck in combat, not being able to use doors during combat, and add more ways out, queuing out is the only way to escape the streaky nightblade trolls who hit you just enough to keep you and your whole group in combat at doors but never enough to actually be killable (and seldom doing any killing themselves).

Sure, some may use it against the spirit of the zone, but I think PvErs keeping their tel var sometimes is far below the severity of being literally unable to play otherwise.

What's more important, you having more Tel Var or having more people to play with in IC? Everyone who didn't already quit it after the first change will assuredly leave if you change this.

Guys, it seems like you’re missing the point... let me explain.

The problem isn't that PvE players are using this addon; the issue is that many 'PvP' players use it to evade fights. Believe me, if a skilled PvPer jumps a PvE player, the addon won't save them in time. The real issue is that this exploit is being used specifically in PvP encounters. Gankers, for instance, switch instances right after a successful gank just to avoid getting killed by the victim's partner or the victim themselves after they respawn - that’s the problem.

I don't care about PvErs - that's not the issue. Let's put it this way: according to my stats, about 8 out of 10 abusers are 'PvPers' using this addon, not PvErs. What strikes me as absurd is that ZOS 'fixes' an exploit while openly leaving a massive loophole.
