It would be kinda really nice, once you reach 10'000 favor that you can carry over any favor >10'000 to the next faction for the next upcoming night market...gives players more autonomy and flexibility when / how to acquire favor...and doesnt make it feel "wasted" when you still enjoy engaging in the NM beyond 10'000

✭✭I'm wondering about something similar.
If I don't play enough to reach 10K faction for the dye, can I pick the same faction and pick up where I leave off next time?
My main goal is 5K favor but not sure I want to grind to 10K all in one event.2 -

It unlocks various features in Night Market and house.
1 or 2K (I saw varying numbers): Banner Toggle in House
1K: Shard purchase for the NM Relics
5K: Bank/Guild Bank in House
10K: Faction Dye
Various: Purchasable house items and/or Gear Coffers. Trial gear coffers were at 5K I think.

I'm gaining favor with the faction I chose.
The next time the event comes around, I'll join a different faction. So naturally I'd have to gain rapport with them too and earn their favor. Carrying the pre-earned favor from a different faction over seems unreasonable given the nature of the "currency".2 -

Because they know how much the other factions favor us so they would want to favor us more.3 -
