Night Market Build

Imperial or Orc Arcanist.
64 Stamina
Thief stone
Full 7 heavy 2 iceheart monster set, 5 piece armor Medusa, 5 piece Briarheart.
Armor is all divines and that enchantment that adds all 3 stats, lol.
Neck and Rings all three add weapon and spell damage with 2 bloodthirsty and 1 infused.
Front Bar:
2 daggers, both fire, Resolving Vigor from Alliance War Skill Line, Camouflaged Hunter from the Fighters Guild, Deadly Cload from Duel Wield, Pragmatic Fatefarcer, Cephaliarch's Flail & Flawless Dawnbreaker.

Back Bar:
Impervious Runeward, Critical Surge, Hurricane, Unstable Wall of Storms, Rune of Displacement, Gibbering Shields.

About 75k on dummy, but it's doing great in the Night Market. I'm soloing mobs.

This isn't a hard build to put together.
Sure, all of my stuff is Legendar,y but Epic could work just fine.

Sugar Skulls & Stamina pots mostly.

    Seems ok. If you have Undaunted skill line, I would make Iceheart medium hat and light shoulders.

    Off hand dagger glyph to absorb stamina. Helps with sustain and does minor breach.

    Instead of quick cloak, razor caltrops would do aoe major breach.

    Back bar could be maelstrom ice staff if you have it. Don't put points in the first passive in destro line if you have ice staff. And ele sus instead of rune of displacement. Also, blockade of frost instead of unstable. Wall of elements with ice staff and ele sus applies single target minor and major breach.

    Looks good otherwise, but I would tweak it a bit like that.

    I gave all of this a try. Caltrops do help when I'm alone, doing more DPS, but I don't stay alone for too long. I normally end up in a group, running with a group, or starting a group.
    I made this build in the morning when there was nobody else on, and I became humbled by trying to go here on my normal DPS.
    The light and med for the monster set also helps, thanks.
    There was too much survivability with the build.
    It hasn't died even once, yet.
    I get better results personally from unstable, and I heavy attack enough that sustain isn't an issue for me.
    I used to tank, so heavy attacking is in my nature.

    I was using an ice staff, actually, since you mentioned it, but the tank in the group said that someone else was taunting, and I remembered something about ice and taunting, so I popped on a different staff. Lightning, I think.
    Should try fire.

    Interesting build, and I'll try it today since I have an ImpArc that isn't doing anything.

    Nothing too specific.
    Keep your buffers active at all times, like Hurricane & Critical Surge, Deadly Cloak & Resolving Vigor & your Impervious Runeward shield.
    Use your shield over and over again, that shield is so dope!
    Keep down your Unstable Wall so even when you're running around trying to stay alive in the chaos, your crits are still popping off and healing you.
    I normally pick an enemy in the middle of a group and start with Rune of Displacement.
    Run in casting your shield and Wall, by then your Rune will pop off, and you can hit the group with Cephaliarch's Flail two times and Beam'em.
    Flail and Beam again, then reset.

    The Caltrops do help with the DPS, but the Claok does the job while also helping with the Major Evasion for 20 seconds. There are SO many AOEs here, and shielding helps with it all, but there are SOME TIMES when my health gets a little lower than I'd like and I panic a little and start to spam roll in any direction lol.

    Hey if you haven't yet, in the NM (Night Market) there are these doors with white skulls on them.
    Make it to the end and you get a buff. You get you and your whole group to do this and get the fire aura from the Spider Fire puzzle thing and wow.

    Yeah, with the caltrops and absorb stamina glyph, and blockade of frost and ele sus I was thinking from a solo player pov. Even without ice staff you can keep either ele sus (if one or two in trash mob are elites) or caltrops when going alone. The maj breach really helps.

    And also, if alone, you can swap wrathful strikes with reaving blows. (Or better yet, use ring of the pale order.)

    I've been playing about 80% solo and 20% in a large group. I have three setups:

    1. Basic. Pale order, ice staff, and caltrops/ele sus depending on the situation. Ansuul & deadly.
    2. Damage for group play. Swap PO with Velothi and wrathful strikes to reaving blows. Ansull & deadly.
    3. Boss solo. Pale order, flare (minor protection), undo (major protection morph) and reaving blows, trainee heavy chest. Ansuul & Olorime. Olorime back barred so no maelstrom. And olorime sash. 1 ansuul and 1 olorime dagger to get olorime 4pc bonus on front bar.

    Oh yeah and in setup 3, two last blue cp are ironclad and reaving blows.
