Seriously...who designed this.

You put the item for a daily in an area you cannot get to unless you have an item that cannot be made if you're playing solo. All three paths to the area have a 'sand wall' blocking entry.

As I understand it these items that you create are suppose to add "shortcuts" to the map to make it easier to get around. So why is this one (Windglass) required for a daily.
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.

The map only shows main route paths. There are other paths to take. They're just not drawn on the map. Sometimes you have to go pretty far out of the way to get to where you wish to be.

iirc the walls also rotate periodically, so it you’ll need to find the open one until you get the relic

The sand walls are static, there is always a path to places but without the windglass some of the paths are twice as long. As mentioned, some are not well marked.

If it's the north west one you need to go almost to the desert in the middle. Yes, that much east. But keep to the outern-most walls and go north. There's the path.

I hope you get the windthingie soon. Makes it easier.

Ya, it's the Unlit Wick. I went to each of the areas the 'road' passes through.

I got to that area after getting thrown out of the Calamitous Dunegorger. That’s probably more effort than it’s worth to try on purpose though.

The Void Escape boon from the race in Sorrow's Friend district can also get you past sand walls too.
