No events section appears in my crown store quest starter section. How do I get the quest?

Gina answered as follows in the pinned Night Market feedback post:

"Yes, there is supposed to be a quest starter in the Crown Store but it is currently missing. We are working on fixing now, and hopefully that should help guide folks to Night Market if anyone isn't able to get to Fargrave."

I thought this new style of content delivery would enable them to put out content when it was ready? Lately it seems like everything needs to be fixed after the fact.
This was so worth giving up chapters for, right? J/k

The very first thing that is always present to start the new content is missing/broken. Seems like it wouldn't be possible to miss this in testing. Not the best way to make a first impression, at all. :'(

Wandered around looking for that quest and never found it but sort of fell into it. That said after trying the "marker" starting quest I have determined this is not for me. I suspected this would be grind and wander for stuff and seems true. To each their own. Glad I have some story content left to play as that's where I go for now till I'm done with it.

Talk to the curator and follow through all the dialog. You get the quest starter and then talk to more people before you bow to a banner to "pledge." Then talk again and get sent to wander in a dungeon to do something that lets you experience a grind. That should do it.

In the Night Market feedback thread, it is acknowledged that this is a bug and they are working to fix it "soon"

All I did was find Fargrave on the list of places to go, looked at the map, and then clicked on a funny symbol which is the Night Market icon. It's to the west of the Shambles wayshrine. When I landed, there was a Curator with a quest, just in front of me. I spoke to him and he sent me off to talk to Patrons.

His position is marked with a quest marker.

The curator quest on PC NA doesn't appear to be updating after you speak to him

You cant pick up the quest on an alternate character. The faction you pick is account wide, not character. Once you pick a faction, every character you have is apart of the faction. There is a warning pop up bubble talking about it before you selected your faction.

So I picked up the starter quest on 1 character, but didn't do it.

Then I picked up the starter quest on a second, and now it won't advance when talking to the curator.

Is this a bug?

EDIT:

If I abandoned the quest, and then talked to the curator again, I could progress the quest...

Had the same issue here, after dropping the quest and accepting on another character the curator person is nowhere to be found (and I don't even have Fargrave zone unlocked or ESO+ so can't really walk out), the quest is not progressing, oh boy
Submitted a ticket, hope this gets fixed somehow

I got the starter quest from the crown store, talked to the Curator through all the different dialog, but nothing to point to what I should do next except "Talk to the Curator". I abandoned the quest, talked to the Curator again and THEN I got the quest of "Those Who Would Rule".

On PS there is a big with the quest starter from the crown store. It won't process when talking to curator as the quest starter indicates. When abandoning the quest and start it again using the quest starter from the crown store the bug persists. Only when abandoning the quest and directly speaking with the curator works. @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

I abandoned the quest to talk to Myshka (I am in Thousand Eyes), so the third quest of the faction, because I wanted to pick it up on my main character, and now it seems I'm locked out fully? I can't find anywhere to pick this quest up because the previous quest giver does not give it again. I went back to base, there was only a repeatable quest to pick up there. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

edit: nvm, I can only get that quest on the original character, which sucks because I had changed my mind and wanted to continue the story on my main. RIP

Anything new will have a few hiccups. This is one of them and its not the end of the world. And they took care of this in a timely fashion. Alternatively, simply just travel to the Night Market from the world map.

So there is something bugged with curator quest dialog. The third dialog option that progresses the quest disappears if you select any of the other dialog options.

If you exit the dialog, and restart it the third option (which I can't remember by name) reappears, so you can progress.

Glad I found this thread. Just getting into it now, grabbed the starter quest from the Crown Store, and had the "will not complete" issue. Abandoned and talked to the Curator and it worked. Insert ESO_Face_Palm emote here.
