    I watched the release video and must have yawned or something, because I didn't hear anything about this being a purely vet/trial type of place. If you enjoy it, I'm glad! Have fun!

    Much too difficult for this solo player. Even when I was following a few other people around I kept getting hit with a bunch of red circles and dying before I even had a chance to react. I have enough kills (often from me tagging someone once and others finishing it off) to satisfy the bloodthirsty Khajiit, so I might just turn that in and then try to sneak around for the relics for the other NPC...

    In basically every piece of advertisement for the Night Market they say this or something similar:

    Note that many of the event zone’s challenges were designed for groups in mind, so be prepared for a tough fight if you’re venturing into the zone solo.

    You can basically go over every piece of marketing for Night Market and they always tell you it’s a zone dedicated for groups that offers group challenges.

    It was advertised as designed with groups in mind. They also mentioned being able to go in solo but it would be tough. Based on feedback, even regular size groups are having issues. This does not sound like "with groups in mind" but more with trials in mind.

    Either way, it was also advertised as content for all based on the wording of the below quote from today's marketing on the website. I'm an explorer and treasure hunter but this zone is not for me....

    Season’s Zero Night Market is now live, and Tamriel’s adventurers can begin their expeditions into a new-and-perilous part of Fargrave and Oblivion.

    Vanishing for long periods of time, the Night Market is accessible only during a limited window, inspiring a rush of would-be explorers, adventurers, and treasure hunters.     I solo group dungeons on normal all the time. The Night Market is more than tough, in my opinion. :/

    Honestly, I went in as a group. Didn't help. You actually need a large group to have fun here I think, Unless your group is pro level. And I expected it to be like world bosses or public dungeons where you would have bunches of players coming together... but no, not really - there is no-one else in there

    Largely found the whole thing confusing and frustrating. Constantly dying to the mobs is frustrating. Those stupid sand doors in the parch are frustrating. The duneripper thing that eats you could have been really cool... if he always ate the whole group so someone could heal through the health drain instead of just one of us. And the boulder dash? Uhh no idea what that is. Would love to stop and find out if the mobs didnt insta kill me if took a second to look at it... we didnt bother with the non-parch areas as non of us were having fun.

    We thought we would try to stealth past the mobs, which might have been its own kind of fun but they fill up choke points so that doesnt really work.

    We resorted in the end to spam healing while running through mobs to try and do the daily quests. It wasnt fun at all

    I think this actually might be the hardest content in the game and its awful.

    CP 2.500 soloed anything overland and normal DLC dungeons (vhm base game).

    I spent 2 hours in it just to complete the "faction main quest" and 2 dailies - my thumbs hurt!

    It's too difficult in solo, to the point it is impossible to solo the various level of bosses.
    Trash can be done, but some groups can still kill you; at least they are leashed.

    "You can just tag along with other players" someone would say, except for the fact in 2 hours I've barely seen any players. Came across 4 maybe, but everyone doing its own thing.

    It seems the only way is a premade group, otherwise it is a waste of health and time.
    Also, I'd guess a guild group would be way better than a pug one, since there are millions of activities and achievements and anyone has different priorities on what to do.

    In the end, I had really high hopes, but I don't know how much time I'll spend in it, after hurting my thumbs for 2 hours to gain 250 favors.

    If only we could see a swarm of random players running around to join them... (Rip console servers?)

    I just spent a couple hours going through the starter quest and picked up some random quests in the zones. And as a solo player, I appreciate ESO scaling up the difficulty. But this seems a bit heavy handed. I can solo some of these encounters, but it takes time and really seems pointless to even bother.

    I'm not sure the rewards I've seen so far even look like they are worth this level of difficulty.

    Feels like some major rebalancing is needed here. I need more incentive for this level of suckage and I don't see it. But I could be missing something besides the merchants since I am just starting.

    I don't mind group activities like the vents in Galen or the dragons, because there are always other players around to help. But with this event, I hardly saw another player and there were none around at all when I was trying to do the first faction quest. This was at PCNA 'prime time' on the first day of the event.

    It looks like I'm going to have zero chance of completing these activities in the evenings in my own timezone.
    It's a tradition, or an old charter, or something...

    I honestly like the principle, but it's clearly designed for bigger groups in mind, and I only saw 2 people there this evening. This is the main problem to me. I actually do enjoy "open group" content where you could just tag along - but without enough people, it doesn't work.

    Just boring...

    There're interesting chaotic exotic town visual at there,
    but our activity is just keep killing recycled NPC enemy and
    trash mobs like IA.
    (I wished super sexy argonian girl dancer instead of fatty deadra....)

    It's ridiculously hard...too many mobs and they respawn too fast. I dont play eso on tne same planet as the people creating this content. Im sad i cant participate. Cant even find groups for it.

    I guess eso is miving towards the hardmide vet players and forgetting the rest of us.

    It's a group zone and only a group zone.
    If you have a group it's fun but if you don't have it the night market simply isen't for you.

    All I can think of is that it sounds like Craglorn was when it launched, only with much worse rewards. I went in and got the house and now I'm done.

    The biggest issue I see is that if you don't have an organized group available to go in with, you mostly can't find anyone. I'd consider myself a solo player but not "afraid to group" and I do a fair amount of group content, but tbh I was expecting to find a lot of other players around and folks in zone chat looking to group for the bosses, etc. Most instances I was in appeared empty. This issue more than anything else needs to be addressed if it's going to be successful outside of the most elite portion of the playerbase.

    (To the inevitable "use group finder", I tried that but most of these groups a) disbanded quickly as people started dying or were confused about what to do; or b) were only interested in one specific quest / boss / task and disbanded quickly after).

    TL;DR: It's not the difficulty, it's that there's more often than not, nobody around.

    I like the difficulty but the rewards are underwhelming, i don't feel like i have anything worthwhile to grind for.

    The difficulty is too high to be done solo by casual players but this is intended to be a group focused area, if this was a super casual overland questing area, where you can easily melt everything, the entire thing would be incredibly dull.

    This is how I am.

    I don't mind grouping, though I prefer not to, and I wouldn't mind just following people around trying to help.

    But, the zone (I only went into the one district, the spider one) is practically empty. No one is chatting, no one is running around killing things, and even when people are running around, 2 out of 3 times I saw it, they were the ones being killed.

    Enemies just have so much health. Took me forever to just kill a shalk. Again, fun if you have alot of people around, but that's not always going to happen. I will definitely take part with my guildies on specified times, but I'm usually on in the mornings and most of them are not. I did like that I got a weapon for a dungeon that I needed for sticker book. But only 1!!

    The rewards are so disappointing. The glorious coffer is okay, but otherwise it's just an uncollected piece from a base zone? Thanks I guess. What if we have them all?
    And why doesn't Unmoored Moriah reward anything for placing her spy stones?

    They advertised it as a group zone, but basically said "so it'll be a challenge for solo players". They didnt say that it would be challenging for a 12 person group too!

    We got destroyed in our regular dungeon group.

    Pugging is even worse than for a trial group because everyone wants to do different things. At least in a trial everyone has the same goal... and they still often fail with pugs.

    I dont mind them making content for certain groups of people that I might not be part of - but I wish they had advertised it as a veteran trial zone, rather than an event zone that anyone can enjoy with a few friends. Because I was really looking forwards to this and now im disappointed. Hey... at least we have the new skyrim zone to explore in... 8-10 months...

    the mob v boss spawn timers could be fixed some having the same mobs re-spawn 2 or 3 times while fighting bosses seemed to me players was having troubles with ( i hopped in prime time PS NA ) and dying a lot to , idk if them around me was grouped up or not ( IF so they didnt have a set leader ) as 3 or 4 ( i take to be playing solo knowing they need help still ) followed around with me ( since i hadn't died in the boss fight and picked up 3 or 4 who had died ) we got our kills , quest markers and one other boss all without any of us dying until yep you guessed it mobs re spawning / being dragged into the fight by 3 others that joined in the only time i seen players die was due to re spawning of mobs while fighting something else , idk if the tank holding it was solo or grouped but they never tried moving them away from area so it could be a tank/ location issue not timers too just my take on what i seen while there watching and caring whats happening to/with others in something i fine to be fun and a helping place to home my skills once again

    Obviously, because 80% of the player base is used to "normal/overland" content. When ZOS says "group content", players expect to spam any skill, ignore red circles, and be unable to die to mobs or bosses and complete content no matter what they do.

    Did the Thousand Eyes district today with a friend, went in as a duo (tank + DD) and had no issues at all, except for one boss, felt like vet content and was actually fun

    Good to go while in a group, but there are not enough people in the zones imo, and the repeatable quest givers are found by pure luck, I alrealy forgot where I found them. XD

    I play in small groups and solo but even in a small group it's too hard. Im devestated cos i was very excited to progress through the night market

    They need to let you change factions, because having dyes and titles gated to limited event faction selection is annoying af. Should be character bound factions, not account wide. You should be allowed to set a faction you’re rooting for to win and not just have it set as one and done.

    I like dungeons. This was touted as a replacement to dungeons for this year. This dungeon replacement is terrible. If this was an actual dungeon, no one would run it for several reasons. There are too many trash packs that are too closely spaced together. The quests are some of the worst I have seen in group content. Can you find your quest designer and explain that do the same thing repeated three times is not some requirement for every quest in the game? The bosses have way too much health for groups of four and take forever to kill even with the current power creep in the game.

    The whole point of running a dungeon is to run around, clear an area, and then deal with a boss. You can't even clear an area in this fiasco due to a ridiculously fast respawn time on trash packs. Figure out a solution or get working on some actual dungeons quickly. This event zone is not a satisfactory replacement for dungeons at all.
