I believe outgoing healing in PvP needs to be completely removed.

Simply reducing it doesn’t really solve the problem. I don’t see any realistic way to balance it properly—either it has to go entirely, or be reduced to something like 5–10% effectiveness.

In Battlegrounds, the team with more healers almost always wins. Organized ball groups are largely viable because of cross-healing.

This has been imbalanced for far too long and creates too many systemic issues. At the very least, as an experiment, outgoing healing should be drastically reduced or completely disabled.

    Good healers keep their teammates alive. That’s the whole point of their existence. Make friends with a healer in PVP and you’ll survive a lot longer, too.

    If you’re struggling with overcoming healing, bring a source of Major Defile, lower their weapon/spell damage, tighten up your rotation for more damage.

    The team with more healers should have a higher chance of winning. That’s just how it works. Adjust your strategy or accept that you’ll have to take an L on that one.

    In Battlegrounds, the team with more healers almost always wins.

    This sounds like a balanced and rewarding environment for healers and the system working well in battlegrounds. I've only played non-organized group healers and it's very satisfying, and encourages players to play a bit more selflessly in pugs.
    Organized ball groups are largely viable because of cross-healing.

    This has been a longterm issue, but one that I think should be addressed without removing most of PvP healing. I think the only thing that maybe fixed this was Vengeance, right? Are there Vengeance ball groups that perform as well as regular ones?

    I think self healing should be nerfed. If you spec Healer, sure, you should be able to heal, but the self sustain on top of the strong group healing is insane

    Things got really bad with ball groups after hybridisation when players could stack both radiating regen (magicka) and echoing vigor (stamina) at the same time.

    Since ZOS aren't turning back the clock on hybridisation, the should disallow multiple versions of the same heal to run in PvP using battlespirit. When a new one is cast it should replace the old one and nothing else. Stacking different types of healing (Grand Springs, Warden trees etc) is fine since most of these heals are immobile and also much more vulnerable to counterplay such as siege or Negate.

    This would be horrible for solos or non comped groups, indirectly buffing stacked healer comps even more than they are now. Wrong direction. WTB PvP mode with self healing only.

    Fully agree with this. Cross healing needs to be reduced way more. Tired of seeing groups of 40k hp cross heal spammers all the time.
