I Yearn for Good Brown Dyes

I’m grateful for the brown dyes we are getting in U50, however, I now realize I have never been specific in my complaints of needing a “good brown”.

Most brown dyes are very similar, and almost all the darker ones are shiny. What I’m looking for are dark browns that are matte.

Very specifically, the Pyandonean motif doesn’t dye correctly… and there’s no brown like the one the NPCs have. Our dyes are too unsaturated in comparison, so I can never be an accurate Maormer…
So, like the House Monard Yellow enjoyers, I plea for Storm Shark Brown!

I don't think we have the exact green/blue color either but I'm mostly bothered by the brown (though the green/blue is beautiful too).

I am all for more dyes, there are a lot of meh dyes. Especially reds, scintillating red is the only one I think is actually nice or doesn't look pinkish. There are a few good greens, blues, purples, etc but not a bunch. I also find it odd that some dyes look nothing like the tooltip from the menu like frozen blood. It appears dark red on the selection but looks light blue on most armor.

We are definitely lacking variety in a few colors but especially browns and pinks still.

I also wish to see motif dyeing more homogenized in terms of color expectations because maormer and ayleid motifs especially dye extremely light and I have had entire outfits ruined when I reach the dye phase and realize I cannot match colors across motifs that just don't dye synergistically and even having all dyes unlocked I can't match a fitting substitute.

I really wish across the board things dyed more consistently. Just today I was looking for a sword or dagger motif I liked from my Z’en DK’s off hand and I found one only to realize that when I apply the same dye colors as the main hand weapon the colors look entirely different. They were much more muted and dull which is not at all what I was hoping for. I also echo wanting to have the dye colors which NPC’s have. For lore reasons alone it would make sense that any clothing/armor color which appears on an NPC, probably with some exceptions, would be available in the world to individuals who sought out that specific dye. This is incidentally a good lore explanation for the achievement locked dye colors in a way.

Also yes more dye colors. More browns, more, better reds. More of a lot of colors. A better dye sorting system would also be nice, as would color swatches that actually look like the color that the armor will be when dyed.

Not related to brown, but i need Dye stamps to let us permanently unlock their Dyes.
