On March 7th in the real world, my wife of 40+ years, soul mate, and best friend, known to Tamriel as
@EACo2, passed away. A few of my fellow guild members know, but I've largely kept this to myself. If you should see
@EACo2 in the game, know that it is me because I can't let go of the toons she loved to play.
She wasn't a stellar player, and sometimes people in the community played gate keeper on her. Fortunately that was not the general case, but the incidents that did happen made it so she wouldn't participate in many things, particularly dungeons. So, much of her time was just spent doing crafting and occasionally I could get her to join me in content that I could solo, such as City of Ash I.
To the guilds that took her along on trials. Thank you very much. I wish she could have gotten to know you as I have and that you could have gotten to know her better.
To those the helped her along the way, thank you. We started playing ESO when it became available on Stadia. Then COVID came along and confined us to our home. Tamriel became our escape from the confines of the four walls, as I'm sure it was for many of you. Her failing health due to chronic conditions kept her confined at home and Tamriel was her escape.
While she hated doing PVP content, there was one Mayhem where we got riding roughshod with a group across Cyrodiil and she actually had a good time.
To the staff of Bethesda/ZOS, thank you for creating a game where we could once again play roles beyond our daily lives. We met playing D&D, so you can see how your game came to be so big a part of our lives for the last several years.
Best regard,
@Q'warx
