It would be nice if they allowed a second set of body/facial markings to behave as the "skins" slot where it is overlayed on top of the other markings. This would allow someone to set one thing of makeup as a base, still have facial hair, and also allow additional markings like scars, war paint, or additional makeup designs.
This would also allow argonians and khajiit to still use other body markings while keeping their patterns and colors– a heavily requested feature.

They also need to allow us to swap the color of adornments regardless of hair color
