We're oddly nerfed and have been for some time now. Bows Staffs and 2 handed melee weapons should all have the ability to have 2 enchantments because when you have a dual wield character of any kind including sword and board, you don't have the same capabilities as when you are using a two handed weapon. Can we see this get updated sometime? It would make things more equal especially for Magicka Tanks. Ty

This would be a nerf. One-handed enchants are half the power of two-handed enchants. These two-handed weapons are meta on one bar in order to take advantage of getting bigger buffs/debuffs from their enchants.

really think about what your asking as 2h enchants are stronger than dual wield and S&B is only 1 weapon 1 armor enchant making it even weaker than both 2h dual wield for DPS use ..... seems to me 2h having 2 half level enchants would be a big loss in overall power

The halved strength on the one-handed enchantment doesn’t reduce the power of the status effect procced by them, though. Burning and Poisoned still do the same damage, and having two enchantments lets you proc both at the same time at the cost of the direct damage of the Fiery Weapon or Poisoned Weapon that applies the status effect. Even then, one DW light attack can apply both half-strength enchants simultaneously, so that downside is mitigated. It is not as good as two full-strength enchantments, sure, but we’re not getting that back.

So having two enchants is desirable when you want to apply multiple effects. Having two is not good when you want to maximize a single buff or debuff like weapon power or crusher.

Like for tanks, who were specifically mentioned, running a half-strength crusher would be a loss not made up for by two half-strength enchants and their status effects. Running two half-strength crushers doesn’t work. It results in one half-strength crusher and one wasted glyph.

Actually they can put a small delay between the procs which would make it not be abused, that's what I've experienced in other titles. The first one would activate on the first attack the second one would activate 3 seconds later. It was don't to prevent an explosion of damage all at once and instead kept the damage from armor sets for that purpose.

They actually did want to separate the glyph procs on DW light attacks and even said they “fixed” it so both glyphs wouldn’t go off at once. That was back in 2018. I haven’t ever found that change in game, though. It may have been a lot more complex to do this than they thought, or maybe it was changed but ended up reverted very shortly thereafter. So technically speaking this seems possible, but in terms of actual implementation in game they haven’t done it for the better part of a decade, despite having said they did.
