Delve bosses don't count?
I've taken out 2 and they didn't count towards the 100.

Quest bosses and WBs have been though.

    IA bosses are counting (just adding to list of bosses that count).

    I finished it in less than an hour in a public dungeon. That is your best choice.

    Group dungeon mini and main bosses both count.

    Update: Did a delve boss in N Elsweyr and another in S Elsweyr - both counted.

    Weird, it says they should. Have you tried different zones?

    "Defeat Bosses across Tamriel.
    You can find these enemies in arenas, delves, dungeons, incursions, trials, and more!"

    Nice to see multi bosses counting for each of them still tho

    I'm taking my time with this one after rushing the other two. Besides, I need to keep an eye on that 2K cap.

    Not yet since I'm mostly questing doing this one, but I'm about to cross to the next DC zone, one more quest to go.

    Since I have all the IA sets and collectibles, I've only been doing IA to get enough Archival Fortunes to buy the purple (and sometimes gold) furnishing plans (and the few monster helmets and shoulder motifs I haven't already bought in there) from Ool.

    It'll be easy to get this challenge done in the 70+ days left we have in this season, just by keeping that up.

    I do two arcs = 10 bosses without killing the marauder or the side arena.

    I wouldn't sweat keeping an eye on it. You don't lose anything by going over. You can land on exactly 2k after purchasing everything, or you can land on 10k. Either way you still have the same amount at the start of next season.

    I am just about done with mine mostly using Blessed Crucible on normal. The second boss there is a group of 4 werewolves. Kill 3 then jump in the lava to reset/respawn them. Counter goes up 3 each time.

    Enemy players in PvP also count as bosses.

    No need to deal the killing blow either.

    Meatbag catapult goes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Some players report that guards counted for them but not players. I might have been confused, not sure, account was done in a blink.

    Will check with a different account tonight just in case.

    I guess I got lucky. There were a few others there but they were not doing the same rotation as me. I was in Stormhaven. I'm sure things will calm down soon enough.

    I mean, there is a lot of ZOSistency(TM) involved.

    For instance the witch pikes in harrowstorms count as bosses but the named bosses in the solstice incursions (the ones in the peripheral soul harvesters) do not.

    So IMO is a 'whatever works' situation.
