Make Bolt Escape cost 100% Magicka, and halt regen for 24 hours

This way Sorcs can only use the ability once to escape, then for the rest of the day they need to use stamina to fight. Only way to fix it or my whole guild will reroll Sorcerers and wipe raids with Bolt Escape, Ball of Lightning, and Bolt Streak. Fix my game Zenimax.

    Agreed.

Also reflective scales should cost 85% of health and stop all resource regen for 24 hours.

There isn't any other way to stop the legions upon legions of Sorcs wiping raids with Bolt Escaping them escaping from the wiped raids shortly after without ever stopping. Our keep just got taken down by an entire raid of sorcs spamming Ball of Lightning, proof here. http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/VYqnBUOhO4I/hqdefault.jpg

Reflective scales already costs both the initial cost, plus the cost of everyone attacking. So if you cast an attack that costs 400 magic, the DK pays that price. Just cast some low damage high cost skills and nuke his power pool.

    Reflect.
*One of the most obvious skills in the game because it is cast with giant dragon wings about 5m long on each side.
    *Lasts for 4 seconds
*DK eats the cost of original cast and all casts applied on him during that time. (not in tool tip)

I cannot understand why this skill keeps cropping up as overpowerd.

Rofl at a DK who rails against BE claiming a skill that reflects half the skills in the game is 'fine'. Really? You've been complaining about BE for days on the forum.

I don't really have a problem with reflect, but then I also think a 15m teleport is OK... while you feel the former is ok because it has an obvious animation, but the latter is OP because... um...

DKs clearly like their standard spam so much they think having a double standard is even better...

Bolt escape should have a 10% chance to teleport in material space and cause 100-500 damage per use.

I'm sorry, what is your complaint here with me if you think reflect is acceptable. You agree with me that reflect is acceptable, so what is your point?

It would be unreasonable to conclude that because both of us think reflect is fine, that BE is fine. That would be non sequitur. Neither does double standard have any logical bearing on whether BE is fine. I am completely at a loss in finding your argument here.

I would love to see a guild re-roll as Sorcerers and then try to wipe raids.

You gonna 'escape' them to death? :D

Well, I think some of it is that the scope of your raging fury against a running away ability leaves you in a bit of a glass house when your defense of one of your own debatably OP abilities is partially contingent on 'it has a really obvious animation' (because bolt escape is so subtle).

It might also be that, if either ability is overpowered out of the one which moves you 15 meters forwards, and the one that makes you nearly immune to a zerg in addition to dealing DPS to the number of players shooting at you, you're saying it's the former. I think both are within reason. But one is waaaaaaaaay more within reason than the other, and it ain't yours - particularly when the difference in cost between the two is negligible.

But really, I think most of all that it's just the amusement of seeing you leaping to the defense of any DK abilities (when DKs are pretty much universally acknowledged to be the most powerful class in the game) after your complaints against a skill used for running away being useful for running away. It's amusing that you cannot possibly conceive of how Reflective Scales might be considered OP by any reasonable person in the world, when you continually stand behind people saying Bolt Escape is. I wonder which difference between BE and Reflective scales you're really looking at when deciding which is fine and which is too strong, and it might just be 'availability for myself'. It just seems an awful lot like your argument is that all your abilities are all fine, it's just everyone else's that are OP...

At the same time they should just delete the DK class and make them Sorcs.

@ruzlb_ESO As I said reflective scales causes you to expense the cast cost. If a zerg shots at someone with reflective scales then they just nuked that guys power. He's done, no more reflective scale. Did you not even read my post?

You need to get your facts straight buddy. I have openly supported the nerfing of broken talons and I will openly support the nerfing of reflective scales just as soon as you can make an affirmative case for it being OP. I am in no glass house because I do not want my class to be OP.

If there is nothing wrong with reflective scales, as you claim here, then there is no reason to marvel at my opinion of BE. However it is clear that you do believe there is something wrong with reflective scales, and wish to hide behind that to keep your own BE. But I have nothing to lose because I don't want an OP class anyway, so you are not hiding behind anything, and neither am I restrained by RS.

If you want to snicker that I find BE to be broken go ahead but that is not a case for BE. Neither is my opinion of Reflective Scales. So you if you would like to make an actual logical case you can begin so now. Otherwise you are wasting everyone's time.

If paper could teleport, I imagine that would make it quite a bit more difficult to cut with a pair of scissors. :p
