I just no longer buy crowns. I think the crown store item pricing is too high for what is a video game, and ZOS takes advantage of people with their marketing of items.

I have no problem paying a monthly subscription, but crown store item pricing is ridiculous. (Though I did stop paying for ESO+ for about 6 months when they did armory station with the per character armory slots. That was the tipping point for me, but I am back to ESO+ for now.)

No, not for a long while, I used to gift things to my other account, then gifting was removed from everyone and I have no interest in going through the hassle of being acknowledged as a legitimate and honest customer.

No, because pretty much everything in crown store is extremely overpriced

things like skill line lvling packs for mages guild should be 100-200 crowns not 1500 or w/e it is, same goes for xp scrolls.
A reskinned mount thats been in the game for 10 odd years isn't a $20-30 value, etc.

It seems like the poll is missing at least two options:
1) "I never buy crowns" (maybe two versions, to specify whether you get them from ESO+ or not)
2) "I don't need more crowns right now"

A lot of the 'other' votes seem to be one of those. I know some people see buying crowns as primarily a way to support the game and "vote with your wallet" (for or against), but I suspect for a lot of people it is simply a store - we get crowns to buy items when we want them and don't buy them when we don't need them.

I didn't buy on-sale Crowns, because I never buy Crowns beyond what I get with my ESO+ sub.

No, I don't buy crowns. The only time I ever bought crowns was when I first started playing and had no intention of subscribing and I wanted a mount really badly. (It was the sabretooth senche I think.) However, I have been a subscribed for some time now and have 5000+ crowns saved which I think is plenty for anything I could possibly want.

Almost did. I decided to pass on the premium battle pass this season, but still wanted to support the game because I like what I see. That said, I still have 26,000+ crowns and there isn't a whole lot in the shop I want to buy that I haven't got already. Also, a house repair came up, so I'm glad I held off because I don't have the spare funds now.

Not for the discounted costs, just enough to get that jaws of oblivion recall, and a music box. Had 5000 ish already.

I didnt care for the current crown crates otherwise i may have bought more. And I unfortunately missed out on the alduin akatosh stuff which was pretty much perfect for me lol, rip, so waiting for those again or something as cool and Nordy.

The only 'no' options are stating that you're unhappy with the direction the game is heading or that you can't afford it, which leaves everyone who isn't in one of those specific situations basically unable to vote because "other" could mean anything.

The yes options aren't much better because they also force anyone voting to tie their choice to a statement about their intentions which may not be relevant to them.

Overall they give the impression that the 'default' position for everyone is to always buy crowns in every sale and the only reasons not to are because you can't afford it or you think it's some kind of protest, which only covers one type of player.

If you want an unbiased poll it's best to go with simply 'yes' 'no' and 'other' rather than adding in what you imagine people's reasons will be for picking that choice, and if you just want to start a discussion it doesn't need a poll at all, in fact it could be more effective to leave it off because then anyone wanting to join in needs to write a post instead of clicking a button and leaving again.

I usually don't participate in crown sales. I just use what I get from eso+.

Did not buy because I have no interest in such things.

I have enough already and there's nothing I need additional Crowns for at this time.

@ZOS_Kevin still hoping for Alfiq decon and armoury assistants... would be an instant purchase for me.

I picked up a smallish pack for when a woolly mammoth happens by...

Outside of my ESO+ crowns I will sometimes by one other pack per year. Did so in the previous sale so still have plenty for things that may pop up.

If something comes up that I really want and I am short I will just by them at regular price. I am fortunate enough to be able to do so.
