Unattainable Dyes?

Night market factions are locked to account for entire duration, yet there is a unique dye associated with the achievement for favoring each factor. I've always made it a goal to collect every dye, but this will make two unattainable if I understand it correctly.

Yes, I know there are other dyes I can use, seven people do not need to chime in and let me know that there are other reds available compared to Ruckus Rust, etc. My point is must Collect Them All. And now I can't! Until it repeats itself, which as far as I'm aware, is just a "maybe" at this point?

Yeah, we have to make sure to join a different faction each time to get them all. We know it's coming back in the winter for the second round, so there will definitely be another next year for the third.

Its not a maybe. The nightmarket does repeat itself, and each time you are able to choose another faction to support. This was by design unfortunately. I would have much preferred factions being by character, then by account. The house too needs specific faction related items to unlock certain sections. So you can only unlock each section one at a time during each event phase.

Technically, it doesn't "repeat itself." ZOS has committed to bringing it back at least 2 more times, at some undetermined point in the future. It's not setup to happen automatically and there's no timeline for it. It also may be tweaked between now and then. So you will be able to to choose a different faction when it runs again, from scratch.

I dont like the precedent this is setting. I know the reason why they are doing it is so they can run the same content several times with a low cost to them. But I hate accountwide features that run specifically like this.

Agreed. They could have at least made each “camp” a month or several weeks long like in Cyrodiil so that you can experience each faction in a single Night Market occurrence. Now, if you want to get all achievements, it will take you much longer.

Ah okay last I heard it was "Maybe we'll bring it back again in the winter if it's super popular" or something kinda like that. I will be able to get my dyes then, it will just take a whole year lol.
