Ah yes, the night market.

We will not be doing temporary content -zos 2025.

The key piece of the night markets strangeness is that it vanishes for long periods of time. -zos 2026.

What could cause this behavior, indeed.

That said, excited to give it a try. Wish they would've worked out some of the more grindy features in pts. If we wanna make it a guild raid night, all 12 people have to grind and get all the things to do all 3 dungeon bosses to get all the keys to do the trial boss. Seems prohibitive and unnecessarily complicated. I guess we'll really have to play it to judge.

It's certainly an interesting concept and I look forward to trying it.

Very curious about the house, too, especially this line:

"This house has special features like a treasure room that updates visuals in accordance with your wealth and additional wings that unlock with your progress on the district relics."

Updates visuals in accordance with personal wealth (as in gold)? Account wealth? Some other measure? I have a suspicion my vault will be a pauper's vault.

the vault shows your banked gold.
it starts at 10k with a little pile and the gold piles increase till about 10 million.

it returns in season 2 and probably in s4 too so everyone can be in each faction once.
ZOS have said they might make it permanent in the future, perhaps after it has returned twice.

It looks good, and it's the kind of content that I've been wanting for a while. But I'm sorry, I will not be doing the content until it's permanently in the game.

Yep. And I hope they do decide to make it permanent. I'm just not enthused about this approach is all.

Too many group events in the game already. Not interested in more. Tried this once and it was not functional for even a pair of overland players. The Night Market was designed for end-gamers who do trials. Everyone else can follow the crowds and pick up their scraps . . .

If you play odd hours, don't even bother to try it. Groups required.

Can a group of players pick different factions and still play together or do we need to pick the same faction?

Finally, your choice of faction also has an impact on the way you explore and quest within the Night Market. Depending on your faction, the order by which you progress through the zone’s main questline will be different. Note that your choice does not bar you from any quests, it simply impacts the order by which you progress.

I have a couple of questions about the rewards:

I note that you can purchase the monster sets for your faction with gold from the vendor during the event, but also the end of event reward box contains 'the monster set' Does this mean that the end of event box will contain all the missing items you haven't bought, all 6 pieces or just one (random) head and one (random) shoulder.

In all this I am assuming that these are like other monster sets and drop in all three weights, meaning 6 pieces in all, if that isn't true, then how are they configured.

Will I be able to buy any missing monster set pieces after the event is finished? If the end of event reward chest only gives me 2 random uncollected pieces then do I need to make sure I have bought at least two shoulders and two heads so the reward chest can fill in the missing ones, or is it safest just to buy all 6 from the vendor at 20K per piece?
