Im genuinely curious is trolling against TOS? Month No.3 an ZOS refuses to do anything? Or does TOS just stand for Thoughts Or Suggestions?

    Define trolling. Let's start there.

It should be if it isn't. Send them back under the bridge where they came from.

Untrue, there are many encampments all over. You can't destroy them with a well written report either.

You have to be more precise with your issue. If you write your reports like this post you will get nowhere. Support rightfully shouldn't take actions against players based on vague allegations of trolling.

Based on my experience, it almost seems encouraged both on the forums and ingame.

You haven't said what it is you consider "trolling", but apparently ZOS does not share your opinion or they would have acted on it.

I have seen people complain on the forums that people keep killing them when all they want to do is their PVE quests or fish and not be bothered by anyone. This is not considered trolling or harrassment, even if it does cause the complainant distress. Killing other players is the design and purpose of Cryodil and Imperial City.

Cyrodiil is the natural habitat for Trolls in Tamriel. They have a right to exist! Stop with the minority hatred!

    😂😂😂

But joking aside, the definition by ZOS is vague and blurry, but encompasses many subsets of bad behaviour. And like any good company they will notoriously avoid strict language to describe a violation. Words like may and should do not mean "it is forbidden to".
As a result, you probably have to make a strong case with lots of evidence, if you want to report a player for bad behaviour.

It depends on what you're trying to define as trolling. Killing other players in a PvP zone is not considered trolling. Teabagging is only considered trolling if they continue to do it after you've asked them to stop, as it is also the video game equivalent of the middle finger. Refusing to help fight in a keep is not considered trolling.

STuff like repeatedly harassing the same person is considered trolling. Using slurs in chat is considered trolling. Those types of behaviors will get you banned.

So, the answer to your question, yes, trolling is bannable. But no, ZOS does not guarantee that every person you report will automatically be considered a troll. It depends on what it is they're doing. And what counts as a bannable offense is within ZOS' sole discretion because it is their game.

Considering they recently sold a polymorph that enables us to roleplay a troll, I’d say no and quite the opposite actually.

No you should not name anyone, but for the sake of the discussion you could describe their behaviour.
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

I am pretty sure only thing that can get you consistently banned in Cyrodiil is if you tbag (grey zone - emotes) over a dead body and they tell you to stop (or try - bad luck if you are in Offline mode) and you dont instantly stop. Other actual harrasments will not be considered like people keeping you in combat on purpose, bashing, light attacking, etc. Or stuff like chasing a certain player but i mean really only looking everywhere for that player and attacking everywhere. These will not get you any bans.

Only from tbags over dead bodies in Cyrodiil (which is my favourite activity) i believe i am 1 ban away from a perma ban. Last one i got was 72 hrs.

About text chat, i am going to say that you cant get banned through text chat very easily either. I am not sure about stuff like any disciminating, sexist or racial comments etc i dont do that but when it comes to straight foul language, like swearing, etc. i occasionally go in that route and never got banned because of that before. But i wouldnt go there crazy either. You never know.

About stream sniping, i also dont think you can get banned through that very easily. Because even though i dont stream snipe, there were some ocasions i looked for certain players (that i know are streaming) in the map just by guessing where they could be and using Miats Players in the area feature. So i could as well just watch their stream and know where they are. But never got banned for that.

over a decade this is what ive noticed people getting banned for in cyro: 1) Tbagging, 2) Harassment, 3) Spam in zone, 4) Big slurs, 5) Someone talking about politics, 6) cheating, 7) Botting.

I haven't seen anyone get banned for stream sniping in my honest opinion if you are streaming pvp and get killed because someone watched your stream that should be on you the streamer because you don't have a delay. Then again im not a streamer or plan on being one as a consistent one. I really don't know how they do it without their throat hurting and going mad that would make Sheogorath jealous.
I am dark strife. Khajiit since arena... ya know when they were humans... with face paint... still khajiit only all games...

People used to get banned for stream sniping all the time, even if they weren't actually stream sniping. Though ZOS only seems to care if it's a Stream Team member.

ive never seen it personally. However I have been accused of stream sniping and I don't even watch streams. Its very confusing. Infact IDK how people even come to the conclusion of stream sniping ot evidence and of it. I'm more of I see the enemy, im going in to attack. Again my perspective and what I witnessed from my point of view might me insanely different over the last 10 years.

That's what they do. Anyone who kills them in PvP is stream sniping to them.
