Pain Point: Delve Bosses in Cyrodiil

I just wanted to bring this up in case it could be fixed.
Currently with the way the delves in Cyrodiil work, everything respawns really quick which for the most part is nice, except when it comes to getting the delve bosses to spawn. It seems like you have to kill everything else 3 or 4 times before you can get the delve boss to spawn. I'm not sure if they are on a timer or if they just auto spawn, but when I've waited in the past, even upwards of 20 minutes, they never spawn. But if I run through the whole devel killing everything multiple times, the boss spawns. Some delves seem more finicky than others. I don't have a list of the most finicky or even the least.

You don't have to kill anything. The bosses will spawn 5 minutes after someone enters the delve. Pretty much the same timer as any delve/world boss between kills.

It might be delve instances end after a certain period of time of no players, and this is just the normal boss respawn when an instance is started.

The next time I run a delve in Cyrodiil I'll test this.

Agree. They are right in saying it’s at least 5 mins after entering (feels longer) but it’s just annoying. It never used to be that way. Dipping into a delve to grab an already spawned boss was always great if it was on the way to another PvP objective. I don’t know the exact point when it changed, but the wait serves no purpose honestly and just slows down pvp.

I just want an easier way to collect the PVP gear. I suck at PVP right now, I'm slowly trying to work at getting a proper build, but the difficult time I'm having trying to collect good PVP gear is slowing that down a lot.
From what I've gathered, the rewards you get mailed to you are not curated, so sometimes you get new stuff sometimes you don't, and with the incredible number of sets in PVP, it feels like you're going to have to collect them all before you can get all of what you need. Unless of course, you're going to spend all your gold at guild stores purchasing them ... assuming you can find it at least.

I was in a Cyrodiil delve this morning and I was the only one in there for half an hour. I was trying for a lead from delve bosses. There were two in this delve. They weren't up when I got to their locations. I had to wait a bit. Once they came up, they spawned every fives minutes like clockwork.

Given that I was the only player in there for half an hour, having to wait 5 minutes between spawns didn't make sense. Maybe these long timers made sense when the population was higher (though I'd think the opposite would have been true), but it's silly now to have a player sitting around waiting 5 minutes for another chance to kill a boss.

It would be nice if they took a look at the timers and reduced them to something more reasonable.

It was a mistake. That being said, I'm not sure where I should have posted it.

It seems like a lot of the PvP gear that gets sold at guild traders is reasonably priced. How "reasonably priced" is a matter of opinion (since I feel like almost everything sold at guild traders is overpriced), but comparatively speaking PvP gear seems to sell fairly cheaply. There can be exceptions, especially for epic or legendary pieces, or sets considered to be META. But if you check the traders after the end of a campaign, you might find some decent bargains from PvP players who are hoping to sell any pieces of end-of-campaign rewards gear that they'd already collected.

Aside from delve bosses, you might try farming treasure chests in delves and overland, although I think the chests you dig up from treasure maps might have better chances of dropping PvP set gear.

The rewards from town dailies and mission board quests can also be a good source, or the gear vendors found in the towns.

I suppose you already know about these other potential sources, but I'm listing them for anyone who's trying to complete their stickerbook for Cyrodiil.

Edit: Also, I think the delve bosses are the only curated source, so I get why that's where you're trying to focus your efforts.

Delve bosses are not curated. I tested it today.
As far as I can tell, nothing in Cyrodiil is. Not the jewelry from dolmens, not the drops from delve bosses, not any of the quest coffers, and certainly not the coffers bought with AP, not even the monster set coffers, which ARE curated if you buy the ones from the Undaunted sellers.

I was thinking about posting about this as a "Please fix this as a QoL improvement" here on the forums, since I've just recently decided to fill my Cyrodiil stickerbook.

Why on earth is Cyrodiil not curated?
And to make matters worse, with the dolmens, all too often when you try to run them, you are left needing to run clear across the map to run dolmens.
