Gold ring during event

So some guildies and myself are talking and we are not sure if its 1 gold ring per event or each day. Someone wanan fill me in on this @ZOS_Kevin

It's just one golden ring for the entire event:

The very first Extravagant Parcel opened during the event will contain a guaranteed gold-quality Companion Ring

The first Extravagant Parcel that you open on any subsequent day of the event will not be the "very first" one you open during the event, but will instead be the second, third, fourth, etc., Extravagant Parcel that you've opened.

I had hoped this was going to be a companion event where you could unlock full sets of legendary gear, I don't understand why it is not in the game already. It isn't like it is going to make them OP.

if you had multiple accounts you could pool them on a single acct, as these gold rings are bind on equip and not bind on pickup

the same could go too if you didnt care a lick about companions and wanted to sell your gold ring for premium prices lol

Event or whole event? The ZOS post did not make it clear. The first box is golden, so that is a given. Very first is the same also as it is the first golden box. Event is just the event. Is it just the event or the whole event?

I think you're overthinking it. It's one golden ring during this whole event, and it's guaranteed to drop from the very first golden event coffer you open. You won't get another one from the second golden coffer, the third golden coffer, etc.

There is no second gold box, nor a third. Only the first box is gold, the rest are purple or blue for the event.

According to the wording of the event announcement, we should get a golden coffer each day-- so the first golden coffer is on Day 1, the second golden coffer is on Day 2, the third golden coffer is on Day 3, etc.

The first time you receive a parcel during a day, you are awarded a gold-quality Mara’s Extravagant Parcel. Subsequent awards during the same day yield purple quality Mara’s Delectable Parcels instead.

I haven't been on yet today to verify whether I get a golden coffer, but that ^^^ is what the announcement says.

I got a different trait on each of my accounts (one was junk but the other was nice lol). So it seems it can vary!

I can now confirm:

(1) We do indeed get 1 golden coffer each day.

(2) We do not get a golden ring from the 2nd golden coffer we open.

As for traits, I got two different traits on my two golden rings-- Soothing on PCEU, and Quickened (IIRC) on PCNA.

Did them in 6 account along with the golden for furnishings

Also on one of my alt accounts the 1st day I forgot to pull my companion out so no gold ring. 2nd day I did pull them out and it did give me a ring in my box

Update my frnd got a 2nd ring on a alt account today. Has 5 accounts and a 6 rings

It should have been a necklace ... Honestly my brain cries every time I see 2 rings 1 gold and 1 purple I feel off balance
