I'm looking forward to this new event!

I like that the Golden Pursuit will offer some furnishings this time around.

I'm curious about the characters featured in the middle image. Some of them look like the companions, but a couple of them clearly aren't. Are they meant to be npcs we've met before?

Perhaps they are showing that some of the quests will include interactions with companions.

Oh, I didn't think of that--that would be fun. I wouldn't mind having a picnic with my companions someplace in Auridon or Summerset.

I'm very intrigued to see companions being the focus around heart's week.
I hope there is more to it than just an EXP boost.

So do I. As much as I enjoy the companion system, it really could do with some meaningful additions. Why can't I buy Bastian that drink he's always asking for? Or treat Mirri to a plate of food--she's starving! More realistically, I'd like to see continued storylines for all companions. Better depth of interactions would be nice as well.

    So...
Mara’s Parcels for Looting a treasure chest. Does this include the Chest from Treasure Maps?

This event was a huge disappointment to me.
My game friend dropped his sub and stopped playing because of the PUSH for group playing. I couldn't talk him into playing this event with me.
I am learning to hate this game...

"Do you guys not have phones Companions?" I grouped only one time during this event, to help someone complete a Normal dungeon after their tank left the group. The rest of the time, I just kept Bastian out while playing. It was definitely a solo-friendly event, while still commemorating the meaning of Heart's Day Week.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

ZOS, thanks for the Heart's Week event and Golden Pursuit! Both of them were not difficult to complete. Many days I simply soloed a base game world boss for the event gold box and event tickets, while I was grouped with a Companion. And I grouped with another player for an hour or so one day to complete the Golden Pursuit. I was able to sell duplicates and buy missing Heart style pages on the guild traders. Seems to me like the event was popular on PS/NA. There were multiple folks hanging out by different base game world bosses (probably farming them for the event boxes). And a good supply of event drop stuff was available for purchase on guild traders.

This event did not require any grouping with other players at all. Unless one also has none of the companions I suppose.

But at some point people do actually have to engage with various features of the game, and options were provided here for both solo and group oriented players.

So you grouped once, that's nice. I was referencing my experience not someone else's.
I say it was not solo-friendly; that it was located in Craglorn rather than alliance locations says to me that the development didn't care if newbs or solo runners played the event.. There was nothing 'heart' focused about it to me.

    I disagree.
Craglorn was designed for group and end game. There was no obvious transport to the location.
Companions have quests to complete and final battles are not newb friendly.
Posting an argument is not making the game more attractive to me. It only accentuates why I dislike grouping and promotes my disappointment in my experience.

Sorry it's all so terrible for you. I'm not trying to make the game more attractive to you, I posted factual information about the event in case anyone was under the misconception that this event required grouping. It simply did not, unless one also does not have access to any companions.

I agree that they should have provided easy transport to Craglorn (if they didn't - I don't know), but any players can walk to Craglorn via the base game, accessing it does not require help from or grouping with others. Although there is more difficult content in Craglorn compared to other zones, such content was not part of the event quest chain. The fact is that Belkarth has a festival area near the wayshrine in a safe area with event vendors that is also used for Zeal of Zenithar (and possibly other events). None of this requires grouping.

But in my own opinion, they can't possibly be expected to design every event around players who will not engage with numerous aspects of the game. This was an extremely easy event that involved an optional short quest chain that included very little actual combat and a variety of accessible tasks for tickets and boxes, such as harvesting nodes, killing delve bosses, and pickpocketing.

Hopefully future events will be more enjoyable for you.

Your opinions can be wrong but they don't have to be hate-filled for people that do not play like yourself.
As I said: "This event was a huge disappointment to me.

Your attempts to force your opinion are not helping, Please be angry somewhere else. I didn't like the event. That's permitted.

Sorry you found that to be hateful and angry. Thing is, I get to post what I think too. Obviously it's permitted for you to dislike the event and I don't see where anyone suggested otherwise? I don't think there's any point in trying to discuss further but as I said, I hope future ones are more to your liking. Perhaps it would be worth leaving zos some feedback about what you *would* like to see in a future event or a future version of the heart's week event.
