"PREMIUM" should be moved to the top of the box in the reward pages, it took me a whole week to realize that the free rewards are on the bottom.

You're right about moving it but... Wait... there's a difference? Genuine question, since the bottom rewards also cost points:

For PTS we are given access to everything, on live, premium is only accessible if you pay. So people who don't pay will only have access to the non premium rewards.

Decided to do a bit more testing now that the second set of weeklies is here:

    1. I like that I understood the weekly challenges correctly. They aren't things that need to be completed in the week, they last the duration of the tome, weekly refers to getting 5 new ones every week. You can also reroll the old ones, so you get an increasing number of possible challenges.

    2. I like that the completed challenges get moved to the bottom. I wish there was a more obvious marker of completion, like a big checkmark or something. Fading them works, but is not as immediately obvious.

    3. The anniversary seasonal is gone, not just faded but plain gone. I know it can no longer be completed since anniversary is no longer on pts, but is that intended?

    4. Are there only the 3 pages on pts? I did enough to unlock the 3rd page to see how the tome continued, but while the page unlocked, it still has the page with a + symbol on it, and there are no more pages.

Needing to kill specific World or Delve bosses always leads to standing around waiting for boss kills. It's excruciating, but there's no other way to complete it. I would be marginally better if it were "Defeat World or Delve Bosses in [Zone]".

The Challenges to defeat specific dungeon and trial boss encounters competes with Pledges and Weekly Trials, partly because of the grouping needed. It would be nice if players were encouraged to Complete the Weekly Trial or Complete A Pledge instead, driving players to shared goals and encouraging group content.

Overall, the simplification of daily/weekly Endeavors and Golden Pursuits into one central Tamriel Tome is great. But that all depends on the specific tasks and the social dynamics around them.

Were you able to find the Tamriel Tome within the game's UI?
Yes i was able to find it but i had to search a bit. Some Hint on Login at Season Start would be great.

Did you find the information in the Page 0 overview helpful?
Yes it gave me a good Introduction to the Season

How did you feel about the various Challenges on offer?
In the First Week i found some of the Challenges somewhat confusing but now after the CHanges all are clear and understandable that i got. The Challenges did have a good Mix of Activities as well, which i appreciated.
This includes both Weekly and Seasonal Challenges.

Were you able to use the Re-Roll currency?
Yes i used all of my Reroll Currency to see what is available. Rerolling felt intuitiv.

Was the experience of earning, claiming, and spending Tome Points clear?
Yes that was Pretty clear, but the Icon for the Points first confused me as it is very similar to Gold.

Did anything not function during your testing?
    Everything worked fine.

Do you have any other general feedback?
I really like this new Feature, ist a big Step up from the previous System. The only Thing i think is missing would be some FAQ About the Tome and the Points and what happens if you not spend them and Stuff.

Do we know what is actually in the tome though? Beyond the personality?

They put out an article early last month about the new Tome system. It mentions some of what's going to be included. https://elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/69141

Oh thank you! I missed that in my discord feed. It's still a bit wild that everything isnt shown up front but there's still time yet.

(For real-life reasons I was not able to post my findings before; as the draft was mostly complete I'll post them anyway on the off-chance someone still reads them.)
    • Were you able to find the Tamriel Tome within the game's UI?
      Yes.
    • Did you find the information in the Page 0 overview helpful?
      Not especially.
I found it confusing that this is labelled as page "0" on the later pages. It really feels like a distinct thing.
    • How did you feel about the various Challenges on offer? This includes both Weekly and Seasonal Challenges.
      Seem broadly reasonable.
    • Were you able to use the Re-Roll currency?
(Original comment) This functionality either did not work or the method of using it was not obvious to me. The 'challenge re-rolls' icon does not highlight on mouseover, and does not open its tab (it just stays on the weekly or seasonal tab you were on).
(Later comment) Much later I noticed by chance that a small grey message pops up outside the Challenge panel itself, at the other end of the screen, informing of a key to press to access re-rolls. Not very discoverable at all.
Observation: Re-rolls are to my mind much too easy to trigger unintentionally. There should be a confirmation dialogue. I just know already that I'm going to fat-finger the re-roll key on some time-consuming Challenge at 99% completion.
    • Was the experience of earning, claiming, and spending Tome Points clear?
      Not really.
    • Did anything not function during your testing?
The mysterious tick boxes above some progress bars in the Challenge panel that seem to not respond to any interaction.
    • Do you have any other general feedback?
Overall impression: Both major styles and minor details seem inconsistent with and often gratingly clashing with the design language of the rest of the game.
Aesthetic impression: Lack of polish. Feels like a proof of concept functionality test with a messy mix of generic interface elements and a visual ideas still in development. (Which hopefully is precisely what we're looking at.)
Functional impression: Unintuitive, low discoverability, inconsistent communication to user; inconvenient flow.

Challenge panel elements: Communication of status, availability of actions:
Elsewhere in the game's UI a solitary filled blue progress bar indicates that whatever it counts is complete and there is no further action for the player to take. Any rewards have already been delivered. Whenever the player does need to take further action in response to a filled blue progress bar, there is an explicit additional indicator, often glowing, in direct proximity to the progress bar. This UI holds for current Endeavours, Golden Pursuits, skill training, Companion experience levels, and probably many more that do not immediately come to mind.
This Tome Challenge UI design is contrary to that principle. When a Challenge progress bar is filled, the player does need to take action to claim the reward, but there is no accompanying indication of this action being available in the frame for that Challenge. Perhaps this could be a glowing symbol to click, or simply a glowing frame to indicate "You need to do something!"

    Challenge panel access:
As far as I can tell the only way to reach the Challenge overview panel is via the Tome, despite players presumably wanting to interact more often with the Challenge panel than the Tome. There should be a more direct way to reach the Challenge panel, e.g. from where the current Endeavours panel is.
