Achievement titles etiquette

It's perfectly fine to use any title on any character.

Except 'Master Angler', there is a special place in hell for those that lie about that one.

No you and your character earned those achievements if it happened before account wide. You couldn't have done it without your character. Your other characters had nothing to do with it.
Now there might as well not be achievements.

again, i earned my achievements!
characters are needed to do it, but it does not matter which one did what.

really happy we have Account Wide Achievements, for nearly 4 years now

I barely pay attention to what titles I have or other players use. A lot of people just buy them for gold anyways.

This is the most RP thing I've ever read.

Personally, idc. I put Former Emperor, Godslayer and other hm/trifecta titles on my mule alts created just for storage or crafting dailies. I also change their mounts to the Godslayer cat, dress them up in the Emperor outfit and use a sweaty tryhard skin.

i think its funny that my level 3 character rolls out of the coldharbour prison with Apex Predator title. Just letting Molag Bal know in advance hes up for no good time with me.

Genuinely don't think I remember which character earned most of my titles these days to be fair, so I am deffo in the 'use what you want on which ever character you want' camp

etiquette? i just wear whatever title I want on whatever character I want. it's simply a way to embellish your name.

Except for my crafter who kind of proudly wears their "Grand Master Crafter" title, none of my characters use titles outside of stuff like Jester's, Witches, New Life or whatever where they might use an event-related title if I happen to think about setting one. Titles are a flex in my view, and I don't flex. Personal preference.

I used to try to keep titles to the characters that earned them right after AWA, but I admit it is nice to be able to display multiple titles that you earned on one character (on other characters). I can have a trials title on one and an arena title on another, for example. I just put housing related ones on my crafters.

My characters didn't earn the titles, I did, and I will use each title on the character I think it fits the most on. I do most hardmode content on like 2-3 characters, I'm not going to avoid using them on characters for roleplay reasons because that character specifically didn't do that achievment and their meagre level 20. For example, my Hircine worshipping werewolf will use Hircine's Champion even if I earned it on my Hist loving argonian who I use as healer.
I also bought most houses on my main, that won't stop me from using Lady/Lord/Councilor/Clan Mother etc on alts because they specifically didn't buy the houses.

People can and should use their titles however they want. It's only an issue if others have a problem with what and insult people or such for it.
