Unable to play the game after update

CashelGaming
Putting this out here to see if any one in the community has an answer.

After the update I continuously get the following crash and error.

The latest game launch has failed. This can be caused by corrupted files. Repairing your game installation could fix this.

I have received this error message so often that for the rest of the post ever time I got one of these I will just mark it with an X

To try and address the issue I started with the obvious. Addons. I disabled the ones I didn't really think I needed. X Then More. X Then all of my addons.
I ran a repair on my install. X
I uninstalled the game. I was using the standalone launcher btw and installed from Steam. X
Ran a repair on my install from Steam. X
Updated my graphics driver. X
Updated all my drivers. X
Waited a day and tried again after the machine had been shut down for about 18 hours. X

I don't know what else to do. I am running a fresh install with no addons on a machine that has never had issues with the game in the past.

Does any one have any suggestions please?

You took the post out of a form where I might have gotten real input from people and stuck it in here where no one will look at it while giving a pre canned response.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

Since Update 46 I've had issues on both computers that ran this game just fine. I'm seeing in zone chat people talking about things running very sluggish. When I look in task manager, ESO is hogging the CPU horribly. I'm seeing like 90% CPU usage by ESO. I've repaired, removed old files, etc. I never had this much CPU usage before Update 46.
I turned in a ticket about this since at appears to me they did something under the hood that has made the game even more CPU intensive.

I used to be able to watch streams on twitch while playing ESO, but now twitch will freeze, I get network errors from the stream, etc. My mouse gets super sluggish when launching the game, loading a character, zoning, etc. They need to do something about this. This really isn't acceptable.

From a help page, I tried on a whim launching the eso64.exe in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client", saw a Windows message about "Smart App Control", disabled it, then repaired in the Launcher, then I could play.

    What are your computer's specs?

What exactly is happening when you crash? Are you in-game and then at the desktop suddenly? What does the eventviewer say about the crash?
Do you still get that error when you play and close the launcher? (because I think this is a faulty launcher error which can be ignored by most players) If you close the launcher while playing and you crash to desktop without seeing that error, that means that error isn't your problem.

Are there any other programs running while playing ESO? If so, close them.

Make sure to run ESO as administrator.

If you are using Nvidia(not sure about AMD drivers), the last year of driver releases has been terribly bugged. You could try rolling back to nvidia driver 566.36, which is the last known stable driver version(also using this version myself and never crash or disconnect with a 40 series GPU).

    Hopefully this can be resolved!

PS: The computer running sluggish seems to happen with some windows updates(windows 11). The only way to fix this is to wait for the windows update coming after that one, which usually fixes the sluggishness. (though the sluggishness could also be caused by other issues, this seems the most likely)
PPS: Also make sure to restart your computer atleast once every 24 hours. Not shut down and turning it on again, really using the restart function. Restarting fully clears the memory and basically grants your computer a fresh start(only turning your computer on/off doesn't do this anymore). My advice would be to let your computer cool down after running ESO, and then restart the computer before finally shutting it off completely.
