Intel Mac

A few weeks ago I gave up on trying to run ESO natively on my 2018 MacBook Pro. After 20 crashes in one morning I decided to give bootcamp a try. Repartitioned my hard disk, installed windows 11, installed the right drivers for my graphics card and installed ESO. what a difference. the game runs fantastically well now its running on the right OS and I can run it at higher graphics levels and get no crashes, even in the recent Vengeance campaign. So if you have an intel mac then honestly, put windows on and enjoy playing the game as it should be.

Or, you know, they could make the effort to make a native Apple Silicon version 5 or 6 years after it was introduced and proven successful by now.

There is no way Zenimax are going to invest the time and effort to make a client that is going to run properly on mac. There are not the numbers of players out there to justify yet another platform to support.

@ZOS_Kevin Sorry - but ARM based chips are coming to windows as well. This needs be addressed. "Alienware is rumored to launch a groundbreaking ARM-based gaming laptop in early 2026, featuring NVIDIA's "N1X" APU. Developed with MediaTek and Blackwell GPU architecture, this high-performance, power-efficient device aims to deliver RTX 4070-level gaming while consuming roughly half the power." A quick google search, you will find numerous articles about this.
