Raid group tactics... or poor design?

So based on the available skills.. it seems the most efficient way to kill is stack entire raid in a ball and spam ae heals, ae roots, ae dps, and ae ultimates. Enemies can't really pick out targets to focus, so they have very little option besides doing the same.

Basically I'm wondering do people think this is/should be the way everyone will fight? Seems like a pretty bland tactic, I'm not sure I would enjoy doing this on a regular basis.

Or does anyone have any suggestions to improve the situation any or simply disagree with this being the way players should fight.

its horrible design and it will lead to the game beeing dead in <4 months. ive said exactly how to fix it atleast 3 times on this forum by now. devs dont care. neither do i anymore. there is always DAoC to fall back to anyways when every other mmo sux.
