Please Update the Old Life Quest

So, as a lore/story nerd, the Old Life quest is my favorite for the New Life event and I always loved the concept of it. There were already very few ghosts as is, but even major ghosts/spirits have not been updated since Blackwood. I'd always hoped that more quest related ghosts would be added over time for both big and small quests because seeing characters we've lost over the years was really interesting.

I know it's not a big thing compared to other updates and issues with the game currently, but it'd be really nice to see this quest updated for at least major story quests again. I do hope we get other fixes next year both big and small but this is definitely one of them I'd really like to see.

Post-Solstice, however, there is a new problem with the ghosts that appear. Today I had Prince Naemon appear during the daily after completing Choice and Consequence, a Solstice side quest involving Naemon's resurrection. The quest has a choice, but it does not end with Naemon's death, only his petrification if you so choose it.
Considering Gabrielle's death after her recurring appearances throughout the game, it also feels very odd to not have her spirit added either this year.

✭✭✭✭✭I still really hope the indistinct spirit chance gets turned down. Last time I mentioned it, I got swarmed by people who love it because they use the indistinct spirit as a blank canvas to project on. But for me, this is just another daily… I would like to see my favorite dead NPCs (who are in fact in the rotation) more often.PC/NA Dungeoneer (Tank/DPS/Heal), Trialist (DPS/Tank/Heal), and amateur Battlegrounder (DPS) with a passion for The Elder Scrolls lore- CP 2000+

Emeratis✭✭✭Oh, same. I also prefer the named spirits and indistinct spirits to be a bit more equalized in appearance rate. Similar to you, I personally prefer the named quest related spirits appearing.2
