I hope we’re getting a new deck in 2026

Title.

I have a strange love hate relationship with Tales of Tribute. It’s basically my main activity in game, but if RNG is your opponent, it gets frustrating very quickly.

Yet I’m still hoping this feature doesn’t get abandoned and we‘re getting a new deck in 2026. I’m always looking forward to it and I really hope they will not let us ToT players down next year like they did in 2025.

Do you guys think we‘ll get a new deck? And if so, what kind of gameplay would you like to see? What new deck would excite you?

I would enjoy getting a new patron and deck sometime down the line. But I also don't think a collectible card game (be it Tales of Tribute or something else) can keep adding new decks forever.

One small change I'd like to see in the UI is a balancing of the patrons selection screen.

Right now there are 12 patrons, which are presented in 3 rows-- but not 3 rows of 4, which would be balanced. Instead, there are 5 patrons on the first 2 rows, and 2 patrons on the third row.

That leaves room for eventually adding 3 more patrons before needing to add a fourth row. But if it should turn out that no new patrons are planned, they could rearrange the patrons into 2 rows of 6, or 3 rows of 4.

I kind of like the idea of 2 rows of 6, because right now the patrons on the third row are mostly offscreen due to the size of the patrons, so we have to scroll the screen if we want to see them-- or just remember what they are so we don't need to see them. If necessary, they could resize the patron images slightly for a better fit.

I don't want any more decks. I would rather they make some changes to the current decks so that they aren't used to just troll the other player, specifically Rajhin, the Purring Liar. Some players spam Bewilder cards almost every play making it impossible for the other player to do much of anything other than try to get rid of these cards.

No more decks please, just balance the rng. It's depressing how rigged the game is from the start. In the first few rounds it's always crystal clear from the available cards which player the game favors to win. And that's never me.

Learn how to counter Rahjin and you‘ll never have an issue with Bewilderment spam. At least it’s not an RNG nightmare that can completely destroy you within one or two rounds.

This topic isn’t about existing decks though and we have these discussions enough in other threads.

I'd also like to see a new deck, new rewards, and a more transparent ranking system.

I would like a few more decks, at least enough to cover many of the cultures. Preferably an Orc themed one with a Code theme and an Ysgramor one for reckless play. For Argonians, I bet they could do Sithis as an assassination deck. that has agents who give bonuses every time you eliminate another agent.

A little more thought. Sithis's Patron power gives your opponent 1 or 2 simple agents directly on their field.

Rather see a rework and make ToT into a proper deck building game (wishful thinking I know) instead of the RNG nonsense that it is.

Or just import Elder Scrolls Legends into the game.

There may even be a proper way to play legends right now.
