I hope you guys enjoy the build, or have a laugh at my cringe cosplay I threw together haha. Please for the love of the divines, use the time stamps to get around. I know most people wont have time for all the footage I pieced together so I am definitely time stamping this bad boy xD.

Unlock all the passives (unless you lack the points, then you will need to decide per your situation)

Healing Burst - World - Soul Magic - Scribing (Pick the HoT secondary)
Recuperative Treatise - Arc - Herald Of The Tome
Critical Surge - Sorc - Storm Calling
Power Overload - Sorc - Storm Calling

Secondary PvE Tank Only (Sorc Mandatory)
Toppling Charge - Temp - Aedric Spear
Summon Volatile Familiar - Sorc - Daedric Summoning
Summon Twilight Matriarch - Sorc - Daedric Summoning
Hardened Ward - Sorc - Daedric Summoning
Critical Surge - Sorc - Storm Calling

For non-tank Variants - Swap out Toppling Charge for Unstable Wall of Elements and Place Luminous Shards on your bar.

The rotation quite literally is Charge/HA lol. You can pre-buff especially in PvP or if in real combat the situation easily provides time which it often does, using boundless storm and Treatise.
When your ult gets full, shock combo your target for big deeps. In PvP, try and start with a charge off knockdown/CC CD and then HA your ult all over them = Profit. xD
In PvE just burn through all 500 and then use it again once you max it or get near max, to save time from activating. Especially good if mixing with certain synergies like Templar shards.
But for the most part you really can 2-3 button this build for most content.

I might actually adapt this into my already existing HA build! I did not realize you could tank with that charge and the fact that it also applies the status effect needed? WOW!

This is a great guide, really easy to follow and understand. Are their any craftable sets which might be sub for Sergeant, just for solo landscape? Thanks for this and the time taken to put it together.

i dont think theres any craftable sets which boost HA like sergeant, pretty much all of those are dropped sets (and sergeant is almost a mandatory for a HA build due to it giving the largest boost and pretty easy to maintain)

They are all quite soloable. Orders Wrath would work, the second set is kind of a filler. I use spc, noble duelist, or storm master. Gravegrasp (major force) or moras thesis work too. Lots of options but sadly the destro passives were gutted for harder content.

They are correct, and it also doubles for some of that extra tankyness that I was going for.

The upside is that they all drop in the sewers, even the monster helm. And its a very very easy dungeon to spam!

Yeah there is a chance that some other gear options could result in at least higher glass cannon use with the ultimate in PvP, ive just not tested that to say for sure.

No problem! And I couldn't agree more.

Even after the hate my Oaken video got, I decided I was going to double down and put out the build. Because I rather put time into what I know matters and I care about, than what's popular if they don't align. Hyperoxies fueled a lot of unnecessary hate into accessible options, with "optimization" as the prime reason and I hope that dies down at some point. We don't need more stigma on such things, "meta" is not the only valuable factor.

Sad thing is he didn't even mean it as hate, but that even as heavy attack builds there are better options if you want to optimise. And sure, there are better options even as one bar HA builds, but that doesn't mean Oakensoul is not good within its own niche. People just like to take his video as fuel for their hate for it.

I kinda get that... kinda. But in that video, his perspective was very heavy handed in the negative of only the worst offenders of aggressive Oakensoul fans. And essentially made it sound like Oakensoul is almost never good to use and is only chosen by "Oaken cult" like people. And when I see toxic comments, they are very often referencing these points and mindsets.

And now, even mentioning accessibility in any way is being treated as an "excuse" because his fans didn't have nuance explained. Just heard about the "excuse" in a negative way. And he didn't even once mention the potential that someone could enable a certain build they just want to run with Oaken cause they find it fun, or that the simplicity for many builds is still honestly better than non Oaken builds. Because for a player like him, the simplicity difference is very small... But many players are not him and a small difference can be large.

Intended or not, he definitely inspired the opposite type of cult mindset against Oaken lol. And enough people already hated it from an elitist standpoint, so it really did not help.
It's honestly silly that we even have such an issue about an item choice preference in a game. I wish he would have focused more on the disingenuous content creators and specified what the difference is. It's not "NO ONE CAN USE OAKEN OR THEY BAD!" but rather "A creator claiming their Oaken build is super OP and the best meta build should definitely be criticized or punished for lying for views"

I would have agreed fully with the video if it was done a little more open and clearly, and a little less ambiguously negative toward Oakensoul enjoyers.

i have similar builds with the same sets, but have not used Toppling Charge yet. happy to be reminded of it ♥

My main Warden has a subclassed build with Animal Companions, Storm Calling, and Grave Lord. i coincidentally swapped Grave Lord with Aedric Spear recently.
That build did already use Boundless Storm and Healing Burst Soul, the heal i use for all my builds.

YES! very glad to hear it works well for you, and 100% I love that there are options for people who don't want to or cant mess with 2 bars. The game is meant to be fun above anything else.
