Can we talk about Hurricane and Betty?

I’m sure many folks will dislike me saying this out loud, but here you go.

HURRICANE - damage skill disguised as a Major Resolve buff that conveniently grants 15% movement speed.

When you compare this skill to other sources of resolve, it’s leagues beyond anything else, on top of that, it also conveniently falls into the best skill line passives the game offers.

BETTY - a source of Major Brutality/Sorcery that gives a passive ~170 recov while also purging you every 5 seconds.

When you compare this skill to other sources of brute/sorcery, it’s also leagues ahead of the rest. The passive purge is close to a 5 pc set bonus and again, it’s in a skill line with some of the best passives.

Warden in general, Animal Companions gives more major/minor buffs as a damage based skill line than most “buff” skill lines, and Charm deserves its own thread.

Templar gives you passive healing with their resolve buff. Necromancer gives you major and minor resolve rolled into one. Nightblade's major brutality buff also gives courage and cowardice. Arcanist is arcanist so lol to that one. I would say DK is probably worst off with its resolve and brutality buffs , but it might get sorted in the next update.

In short; they're fine. No nerf needed.
Struggling to find a new class to call home. Please send help.

Are we saying Power Extraction is equal to Betty???? And Necro Armor giving Minor Resolve isn’t redundant with Vigor?

Weird that people aren’t picking those skills instead.

Power Extraction as a spammable is actually super good and literally overloaded with power budget. It's just that it's locked in a bad skill line for damage, the fate of many otherwise goods skills, which will hopefully be resolved with the class changes. It is also a weird skill to have Brutality on (which would make way more sense on like Siphoning Strikes).

The Mag morph on the the other had, Sap Essence, is total trash and unusable for anyone and it's been that way for years. When you compare it to Power Extraction is is completely hilarious just how bad it is. That skill needs some major love.

If Power Extraction didn't need a target to provide its buffs, I think it would be pretty comparable to the best options.

I've always wished the Heavy Armor skill that gives Major Resolve was a better option. That thing's terribad, especially when you weigh it against the Major Resolve skills from Arcanist, Templar, or Sorcerer.

I love the variety of what's out there for Major Resolve and Marjor Brut/Sorc, but I feel you - some of them are a little bit 'weak sister' compared to their counterparts, which is more glaring now that Subclassing allows for picking and choosing.
