Suggest a Home for My Sorcerer

I am looking for a home for my Sorcerer--he's finished the Psijic Order quest line and has had his eye on the Grand Psijic Villa for some time but is worried it might be too big to furnish. I really loved the Lakemire Xanmeer Manor house I had on Mac but I've since moved to PS and am looking for something equally distinctive. He's been using the Alinor Crest Townhouse but it is lacking in comparison. TIA

The Psijic Villa is very hard to furnish properly even if you block areas of the house off and don’t use them. Of all the houses I own, that is the only one that has given me heartburn in that respect.

Housing tastes can be very subjective, but I really like the Stone Eagle Aerie because the house size is smaller and the outside can be left natural and not take too many slots to fill out.

Thieves Oasis is another favorite of mine, again you can choose to decorate the outside sparingly.

I struggled with Potentate’s Retreat but the outside area was so beautiful I got it and eventually found something that worked. It is another smaller house like the previous two.

Earthtear Cavern is great because of the natural beauty, I left mine mostly in a natural state but I have seen some custom builds in it that were quite good. It can be purchased with Crowns at any time.

Merryvine Estate is another house that is easy to decorate and can be bought with gold after completing the West Weald storyline. I really like the winery theme and enjoyed decorating the house as a working winery.

Proudspire Manor might be another good gold house but I don’t own it and don’t have experience decorating it.

Your decision might come down to which styles you like best and think would work with your character, or the availability of the houses. Some may take a while to make it back around in the rotation in the Crown store, that is why I mentioned some houses that can be bought with gold.

Thank you, those are excellent suggestions and most of them are new to me. I like the large outdoor areas in some of these, they remind me of the Xanmeer in that regard. My Sorcerer is quite a proud Altmer and would very much prefer something in the Alinor style, I should have mentioned that at the start. The Grand Psijic Villa would be perfect if it were smaller or they lifted the cap.

I was going to suggest Alinor Crest Townhouse then I saw that it's not working for you.

Yes, the Townhouse is the perfect style but the outdoor space is lacking.

There are structural furnishing plans in the Alinor style that drop from the Solstice dailies, they might be enough to construct a custom build in a house like Coldharbour Estate or Moon-Sugar Meadow if you are up to the task.

Just to add that I just discovered the Seaborn Villa in Auridon and it is quite lovely. I think I will add this home to my list!

Mathisen Manor, Auridon, purchasable with gold(1025,000g) needs Auridon Adventurer achievement to buy with gold(unfurnished).

Altmer style and a nice outside area, I love the pool out back!

Biggest drawback it's a Classic home and therefore only 300/600 slots, quite a large area for those slots but definitely more manageable than the Psijic Villa. :)!

I am not sure how they would bring this house back. It was a rare cash purchase rather than a crown store item, or one you could buy with gold.

I don't believe it was a limited time thing. It's still in the store on the website from what I can see.

Oh, I completely misremembered then. Sorry for the error.

On PS5 I couldn't find it on the Crown Store and when I tried to buy the house in person the text said it wasn't for sale.

On the website it is labeled as "Housing Starter Pack", you get Seabloom Villa and 800 crowns.

Are you looking in the right place? 🙂

You purchase it from the PS store. You can find it by searching "Elder Scrolls Online" and then scrolling down to the Addons section.

That being said.. I can't verify if it's still available as I get an "Unavailable" when I viewed it for the screenshot. But that may be because I've already purchased it (though that would usually say Purchased).

Thank you! I'm now the proud owner of Seaborn Villa. I think this house is a bargain, even if it is hard to find the right place to buy it, lol.

Just realized I've been calling it Seaborn Villa but it's Seabloom. ;)
