The writhing wall event has ended?

Seems all quest npcs on Stirk are gone, and invaded dungeons disappear, although there are 3 days remained for the golden pursuits. Have ZoS said somewhere that this event will be ended at 22 or 23 November somewhere?

Yes, it was always going to end 7 days from the first clear of the Writhing Fortress on each server.

It seems that the original plan was to have the Pursuit end around the same time as the wall event, but the fact that they sped up Phase 2 meant we hit the Fortress sooner than anticipated, which means it is now over.

I seem to have missed this piece of information, do you remember where ZoS said that?

The main article, on 13 October
Phase 3: Fall of the Writhing Wall

The Writhing Wall is exposed, and it’s time to break through and clear the Writhing Fortress public instance. Unlike the other phases, which last a variable length of time depending on player successes and mobilization, the third phase lasts one week from when the Writhing Fortress is first completed on a given server, bringing the event to a close after that period.

Didnt they say somewhere that they will bring it back in January for who missed it once its stable and bugfree?

They're only bringing back the Fortress, not the whole event.

    Thanks for the explaination guys.

I was puzzled as to why some of the daily job givers had disappered on my PC/PS5 and Xbox account.

I will always remember how I unsubscribed from ESO+ after years and uninstalled the game during this event.

And I will always remember this event before thinking about preordering any ZOS content again.

Oh man. I interpreted “Siege Camp daily quests” to mean all four sets of quests, not just one. The plural form of quest through me. I feel for those of you that didn’t collect all the rewards yet.

I managed to complete the golden pursuits today with the soul reaper devices ones. They are still spamming in northwestern reaper’s march and other locations. So if anyone is missing some pursuits, is a good option to finish them all

Exactly! I'm still missing several Shards of Writhing Bone to complete the Caltrops skill style due to the abysmal drop rate. How am I supposed to get them now? Except by buying them from guild traders for exorbitant amounts of gold...

It would've been better if you could turn in quests you still have, but then not get any new ones. Instead, the game tells me to turn them in to the respective quest giver, with a beacon nonetheless, who is no longer there.

@ZOS_Kevin, do you have any suggestions?

The writhing bone fragments still drop. You can still do the siege camp dailies to get them. General Zasimba is still there in the camp handing out her daily quests. As well, they can also drop from the Siege Camp chests after killing the camp boss.

Was expecting all the writhing wall daily questgivers to stay, as all the rewards would still be available after the event. Except for the wallbreaker title.

Strange! Though the siege camp daily questgiver is still there.

PS: Should have let all writhing wall daily questgivers stay and just limit the dailies to blue box rewards and a maximum of one daily per questgiver per day only. Making it four fun dailies to complete. The more quests in the game, the better!

I'm leaving my one remaining completed vitrified souls quest in my journal out of sheer spite. It's on a crafting alt, so it won't bother me to leave it there. Having all these different daily reset and event start/end times is hard enough to keep up with as it is. Having the SAME event end at different times depending upon what server you're on was just stupid as hell. I made the final quest turn-in on PC/NA with plenty of time to spare, only to hop onto PC/EU and discover I must've had the wrong end time there: all the temporary questgivers were gone, and left me no way to turn in the quest I had saved for the final day's gold box.

ZOS complains that their databases and resources are too dummy thicc with all the things we players hold onto (despite ZOS themselves creating and pushing for the use of systems that encourage such behavior). Well, suck it up, buttercup. That quest is staying in my alt's journal until you let me turn it in, or delete the data for it from the game. :p Fingers crossed they relent and bring back the questgivers for Writhing Fortress Part 2: Bugfest Boogaloo.

Sure, it'll only take a few months, rather than a few days had the event end not been pushed up.

It's not like the event ended 3-4 weeks early. It was what... a few days? I hardly doubt that equates to adding months to the time to complete.

The fragments can still be acquired from not just the siege camp daily, but from the siege camp loot chests as well.

It ended about a week early, that's 21 gold boxes and 147 blue boxes. if we presume the drop rates in the blue boxes were 75% less than the gold, that equates to a total of ~58 gold boxes. It will not take at least 2 months to get the equivelant number of boxes. So yeah, months.

I got all my bone fragments inside of 4-5 days, all but perhaps 2 came from blue boxes or chests. Most of them came from the siege camp chests, and to a lesser extent the siege camp blue boxes. And if anybody needed that many boxes to get the rest, then the event ending early was hardly why they haven't completed it yet.

[edit] Besides which.. has any of the rewards from collecting a dozen or two fragments in any other zone ever been something easy to knock out in a couple of days?

The most absurd thing about it is that most people who were in favor of shortening the event wanted that so they can access East Solstice earlier - and now it's so bugged that many people have decided to wait with their questing anyway.

They also drop from siege camp chests, iirc. They'll probably also be back during the return of the writhing wall if someone would rather wait. I personally farmed 25 fragments in a few days in the fortress. I have 25 for sale right now in a guild trader on PSNA thanks to that.

They had that 7 day timer going from when the wall came down on each server, 7 days was plenty of time to hand quests in. Was not enough time for some of us to get those shards, and the camp daily is a bit harder to do without a crowd, but the shards can still be obtained.
