[PS-NA] Solstice & Stirk Fellowship Camp Daily Quest NPCs Have Despawned

(On PS-NA)

Dear ZOS.

Yes, I am well aware that we had exactly one week to complete the Phase 3 of the Battle of the Writhing Wall event. However, it was not clear to me that all the daily quest NPCs at Stirk Island and Solstice Fellowship Camps would also completely despawn at the same time. Even if you were carrying a daily quest ready for turning in, the quest arrow marker appears but the NPC remains missing.

This is not so much of a problem if not for the fact that the corresponding Golden Pursuit is active until Nov 26, Wednesday, 10 am EST (4 days, 4 hrs from this post).

I have completed my 20 Activities for the mount. I am fine. However, I believe some players, especially those participating from Base Game (without Solstice), may be still working towards their 20. Personally, I am writing on behalf of 2 new players whom I have been guiding for the past weeks, and due to family & work commitments, have been gradually progressing to their 20th activity with their limited playtime.

In your official Golden Pursuit article here:
https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/68787
It was stated -
Importantly, while most of the conflict is taking place on Solstice, like the event itself, you can complete many Golden Pursuits activities with base game access, too

This is now untrue as a majority of said activites are now impossible to complete.
- Invaded Delves / Public Dungeons have returned to normal, Field Marshals have been all removed from Base Game.
- Fellowship Camp daily quest givers have been all removed (1) Orinde Glenuvon: Vitrified Souls quest, (2) Quartermaster Nurwalne: Gather supplies quest, (3) Armorer Reistaff: crafting quests.
- Stirk Island’s wayshrine is now only one-way (leave only). Characters who were left there may upon login, explore an now empty island with non-interactable NPCs. Anyone outside of Stirk has no way to access it - the inward wayshrine is removed (unable to fast travel), the navigators to-and-from Strik have been removed.
- Soul Reaper Device incursions continue to be available in Base Game zones (personally tested).

Will there be any plans to address this mismatch and assist Base Game players to achieve their 20 Golden Pursuit activities, within the advertised time frame of Nov 26, Wednesday ? Thank you.

According to one such player on reddit, the wayshrine on the island of Stirk despawned as well, so they couldn't even get to the NPCs even if they did still exist.

Is that on consoles? I've done those quests on two accounts (one with ESO+ at Solstice and another one with just base game on the Stirk Island) on both PCEU and PCNA. In fact, I am currently looking at the quest givers at the camp on PCNA.

At this point you can only complete GP activities non related to the Writhring Wall/Fortress.
Everything related to WW/WF has disappear as the event has ended.
Only the WF will be back in 2026.
(...) We do not plan on bringing back the Writhing Wall event. The only part we are bringing back early next year is just the Writhing Fortress, to give those who tried to run it and ran into issues another chance to experience it.

Edit: I didn't saw the npcs at the camp (PS servers) so I assumed they were gone because the WW/WF ended.

@frogthroat yes. Thank you. I will preface my post with PS-NA. Forgot that this may be a console-only issue.

The occurrence I'm aware of was on PSEU, which was the first server to complete the Writhing Fortress. I haven't logged in to PSNA yet this morning so can't say.

Unfortunately, this is working as intended, based on the news article. The only quest giver in the news article stated to remain after the event concludes is Zasimba. If I had to guess, I would imagine that the Pursuit lasted a little longer than the wall because it includes activities that aren't part of the event. Additionally, the Wall event had a variable end date based on server completion status. As PlayStation as a whole was the first platform to finish all phases, we lost the NPCs first.
General Zasimba is found only in the Solstice zone and offers quests to defend the Fellowship’s Siege Camps. Note that Siege Camp quests will remain available after the Battle for the Writhing Wall concludes. These quests can be acquired and completed only by players with access to the 2025 Content Pass.

You can find Orinde Glenuvon on the islands of Stirk or Solstice, and she requires Vitrified Souls from Daedra native to Coldharbour in all phases.

Quartermaster Nurwalne is present on Stirk as well as Solstice, offering quests to gather supplies for the war effort from various regions of Tamriel. These quests are available in all phases.

Armorer Reistaff offers opportunities for crafters to help supply the Stirk Fellowship on either Stirk or Solstice. These quests are available in all phases, with additional quests available in Phase 2.

The event ended sooner than planned, because players moaned about the length.

Obviously ZOS forgot to pull forward the end date of the GP - which should have ended (plus a day) when the wall came down. So technically it isn't that the GP is now uncompleteable, it's that it shouldn't still be running.

They also despawned in Solstice on PC-EU. Only the questgiver for the Siege Camp quests is still around. Orinde Glenuvon left, but the completed quest is still pointing at her former location. The remaining questgiver still gives "Glorious Writhing Siege Reward Coffers".

Can confirm after logging into Stirk on several accounts on both servers.

PCNA Everything how it has been and working as intended.

    PCEU No questgivers or wayshrine.

On PSNA I can't turn in my quests to Orinde Glenuvan and Quartermaster Nuralnwe. The quest markers are there but they are not. Am I supposed to just abandon those now? Would have been nice if there were an in-game indication that time was running out. General Zasimba is still giving new quests. Is it safe to take those?

Yes. Simba is there to stay. The rest of the NPCs were for the event which ended yesterday at 8pm for PS

Golden Pursuits has 3 days and a few hours left. Dailies at Stirk and Solstice are tied into the Golden Pursuits. Seems odd to end all of Stirk's Dailies and all but 1 Solstice ww daily before Golden Pursuits deadline. Maybe some players aren't done and thought they had a few more days. :/

Was going to get some of my last golden pursuits on other server and noticed I couldn't even wayshrine there anymore.

I assumed the event would last until the same time as the golden pursuits :| Why have the pursuits end 3-4 days after the event.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

For PC NA, questgivers are also gone from Rampart. Siege Camp daily is still functional, but all other questgivers are gone. "Support the Fellowship" quest is still active in my journal (asterisk) with a quest marker to talk to Skordo, who was also gone. Like others, this is all a non-issue for me since I completed the pursuits last month. This is definitely an issue for some players who are showing up and wondering why they can't complete pursuits which still have 3+ days to run.

Asterisk: "was active;" I abandoned it to get Skordo's quest marker to disappear. While dealing with "Crossing the Wall," Skordo reappeared on the lens platform (with a quest marker) next to Prince Azah and had the same initial dialogue as if I had just shown up for the Phase 1 stuff; I did not pursue that out of an abundance of caution. After completing "Crossing the Wall," the quest marker over Skordo disappeared, so I suspect "Support the Fellowship" and that quest marker are linked to "Crossing the Wall."
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

It originally was, but remember that they sped up phase 2 on the 13th, so we all got to phase 3 faster, so it ended faster.

From the beginning, they said that phase 3 would last exactly one week (it lasted 8 days actually) from the first clear of the Fortress on each server. The first servers hit the Fortress on the 13th, and PCNA finished on the 14th, so all servers would have ended the wall event 8 days from then.

I think you've got what's actually happening. Would have been nice if they had adjusted the end date of the pursuits to match and eliminate the player confusion from that misalignment.

Clearly I misread that. I read "Siege Camp quests will remain available" and thought it meant all of those quests not just the the specific quest to defeat siege camps. Rereading it, it is clear, but when reading it before the event I misunderstood what siege camp meant.

That would have required a patch and ZOS were working on the fly to assuage player complaints. Sadly the latter did not think through the unintended consequences. Which is ironic as it is typically the former who fail to do that.

If the event had run it's intended course I'd have gathered all the style pages, as it is now I'm a few short as well as the skill fragment missing 3.
