Purchased Weapon Pack Visuals not working

A friend of mine gifted me the "Aetheriusbound Style" recently. I applied it to my melee weapons and it works, until I barswap to back bar, then back to front bar, at which point most of the visuals of the pack are gone, and my daggers are completely invisible as well for some reason. It looks like I'm fighting without weapons. When I sheathe the weapons and start again, the weapons/effects are back, until I bar swap again.

I have logged a ticket for this but the reply I get is to check bug forums, which I did to no avail, and "We will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 96 hours (4 days)." Well, it's not resolved and it's been more than 4 days now so I sent a follow-up email.

Is this something I can fix (or can be fixed) and if not, I would like the person who gifted this to me to get her Crowns back, as this weapon pack is pretty useless to me.

Seems to be a more general problem. I reported it a few days ago then someone else reported it too. Either way, ZOS hasn't responded about this bug yet so here's to hoping they say it's getting a fix in an upcoming patch.

Are you using Grim Focus or one of its morphs from the Nightblade skill line? The red glow makes me think of that skill when I see it in your video. That used to override the Gloambound weapon glow but I thought it was fixed recently.

It's not Grim Focus, it's the new animations, after the last update whenever you barswap from another weapon to dual wield it makes your weapons stuck in their sheathed state, which makes any arms pack not show their effects and weapons that hide while sheathed stay invisible.

OK maybe there is another cause, the red dots sure look like grim focus is slotted anyway.

I noticed this the other day and was hoping somebody else had also. Would be nice if bug was acknowledged.

Yeah Grim Focus WAS slotted actually. I'll try it with other skills when I'm online next but there does seem to be more than that going on as pointed out above. Thanks!

The red glow is Grim Focus, but it's not what's causing the weapons to disappear.

There was a bug with the skill causing just that to happen in the past, which is why I mentioned it.

Old bugs have a tendency to keep coming back in this game, I don’t have the Gloambound weapons style so I couldn’t try it out to see. If it’s really been ruled out as the cause this time then that’s good to know.

To confirm, tried some setups without Grim Focus and still have the same issue
