I have yet to find a limit to bewilderment.

I was going to test 255, but misclicked and added 2 power, winning the game before I could reach it. I'm not sure if I will try again any time soon.

I don't believe that it would be possible to find the cards in deck limit. I believe that there is a turn limit of 500 turns, so I don't believe that there are enough turns to make the theoretical maximum number of bewilderment.

I did not know about that limit. Though, with the decks in play, I had access to enough card draw to do most if not all of the deck every turn, 2 extra patron cards in my deck and two types of extra patron contact cards (and I had the replacement cards to wipe away cards to get to those contract cards, once most of the other non-contract cards were bought and destroyed), and enough coin to use Rajhin as many times as I had patron uses. I do not remember how many turns the setup took, but with between 3 and 7 bewilderment cards per turn, enough turns should remain to at least test 255 bewilderment cards.

If you have Almalexia, Delmene, and Sorcerer King and can get through the entire deck each turn, then you could make 9 bewilderment per turn. You may want to use Red Eagle as the fourth patron as a convenient power sink so that you don't push over the 40 presitige threshold. It also has Elder Witch and Imperial Plunder/Spoils as convenient ways to disarm Impriosnments and Blackmails that show up.

So anyhow, 9 Patrons presses per turn times the unrealistic maximum of 500 turns would be a 4500 card bewilderment stack.

@PinkApple demonstrated that decks can have more than 255 cards in this video.

To get 223 power from a Sorcerer King button press would require 892 cards in deck. Since apple had already purchased 4 cards, they probably had 891 cards in deck.

One other thought - the game may crash when handling a large number of cards. I had this issue occur when I destroyed an agent that was holding on to a large number of my cards. The game crashed when trying to resolve the multiple triggers that happened when that occured.

Ah! Yes, that looks to be quite a bit more than 255 Maormer Boarding Party cards. I might try testing a limit of 999/1000, but that will be quite some time in the future, if at all.

Thank you. Your post answers the question of a 255 limit.
