"Missing Steed" is fixed. It is, however, no longer lying on the ground: instead it is pinned to a tree by a dagger... within a few feet of where it was originally lying on the ground: close enough that there probably won't even be a need to change it in the LoreBooks addon.

Just to add - this has NO glow. It blends to the tree. Exact map and direction here:

this must be on PC only, I dont see any note on a tree anywhere near the last location I found a stealable dagger, but no note..... on ps5

This is fixed with u48 which does not come to console until November 12th.

It wasn't exactly fixed even on the PC, only kind of somewhat fixed. You can't reach it if you have already done that quest.

It wasn't exactly fixed even on the PC, only kind of somewhat fixed. You can't reach it if you have already done that quest.

At the moment, you can still abandon the quest and redo everything. By no means ideal but I recommend taking the opportunity to do so, given there are 10 books that are quest locked atm, and ZOS don't seem to be in a hurry to fix that.
