Fellowship NPC's have shown ZOS can force characters to equip both Outfit Styles and Costumes

This proves the potential exists for expanding Player Customization with Outfits even further by equipping Outfit Style pieces on top of Costumes at the same time.

    Rolf Lead Foot, an npc at the main Fellowship camp in Solstice.

    Edit to add: Oops, misremembered his last name. Lead-Feet. I wish I could talk to him, find out the history of his name, but he's one of those npcs you can't interact with outside of pick-pocketing and/or murdering.

    The best dressed man in the Stirk Fellowship. He's got the best wardrobe of everyone and he's not afraid to look good while holding down the camp.

    In all honesty, multiple NPCs in the Sunsport camp will spawn with a random outfit. Rolf is just the one players first noticed this and the one that gets his wardrobe rerolled by players the most often. So, he's wearing something different quite often when you go there.

    The NPCs are blending outfits and costumes for their looks

    Oh, my. I've never noticed him. Is he really wearing dresses? I'll start checking out his wardrobe from now on.

    Yeah. All the images in the thread are real, afaik. You never know what his fit is going to be. It's pretty fun. I like him. Wouldn't mind him as a companion that came with an option to have a randomized wardrobe as a secondary wardrobe slot tbh.

    Yes, but he should be able to wear a helmet. It's part of the whole fun.

    I mean, we have seen that for ages, since Archcanon Tarvus from Morrowind's main quest always wore the top half of the Arvel's Ashland Attire costume with the bottom of a standard robe.

    But NPCs continually operate under different rules than the rest of us. I know all I need to do is say "Earl Leythen's hair" and most people will know exactly what I mean with that. My golden goose would be the unavailable greenish skin tone that some Orcs have.

    But yes, I would absolutely love to be able to wear the Pact Mimicry helmet with the Jester's Daedroth suit. For reasons.

    I suspect that's an extra costume. It's worn by different characters throughout Vvardenfell (I can remember seeing it on several people in Sadrith Mora alone) and the statue of St Delyn in Vivec City is also shown wearing it. Just checked it on some of those characters, and indeed it's always the same skirt:

    I don't kill him. I just take a look every time I relog, doing those boring event crafting quests on several characters (that's the only extra quests I can still be bothered with except for the 3 golden boxes, although I do think about simply buying the furnishing plans I still miss).

    On the subject of combining outfits and costumes, I believe one of the currently available ones already does this, sort of.

    The one you get for buying the bundle in the website (not the crown store) to celebrate the 10th anniversary, comes with the golden wisp and a tunic. Said tunic will replace your body, but curiously not your helmet if you're wearing an outfit style (not an actual collections hat, those always did that).

    I'm not online right now so can't check, but I do remember noticing that detail when I tried.

    I know the event is almost over, but has anyone seen Rolf wearing anything notable lately? I've always just seen him wearing normal armor during the past few days?! Made me wonder whether they "fixed" this... while not fixing many bugs that actually bother people.
