[Ozezan the Inferno monster Set] is useless?

(1 item) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(2 items) Overhealing yourself or an ally grants them 4272 Armor for 1.1 seconds.
Healing yourself or an ally grants them Minor Vitality for 1.1 seconds, increasing
their healing received and damage shield strength by 6%.

1.1sec duration? :/

Well, Scrivener's Hall Vet spider was so... stressful last boss. :s
Then, I get this monster head. I tested this monster head in dungeon as healer,
but quite useless at all. Is this not healer gear?

My playing time Mon-Friday UTC13:00-16:00 [PC-NA] CP over2000 now.
I have [1Tough tank] [1StamSorc-DD] [1Necro-DD] [1Real Healer]
with [1Stam Blade].
But, I'm Tank main player. Recently I'm doing Healer.

    it a very good healer set,
    now in pve endgame ,healer main run Ozezan/Nazaray/The Blind/Symphony ,4 choose 2,if group not need more stam/magic res,the Symphony alway first give up set,blind in some combat is very good,like oax hardmode ,nazaray alway run with tank colossus with Pillager’s Profit,Ozezan is best damage reduction set

    4200 armor may close 6% damage reduction(4200/660)
    it last week our PB run
    blue circle have a orange armor FX ,is ozezan,but it need overhealing and only work 1.1sec so you need keep did overhealing ,it mean you need full health and alway heal

    Yes, its 1.1 sec duration but that means 100% uptime on someone whose got full health if you have a heal over time (which you should). Ozezan is about giving people defense so their health doesn’t drop and when it does, the recieved healing component makes it easier to get them back up to full.

    1.1 second is all you need. Every healer should have HoTs running at all times. If your HoT tick does healing, you make the player take more healing so they get back up to full health faster. If your HoT tick does not heal them, they get extra armor to make it harder to drop their health into danger zone. You should have one or the other effect going on all allies at all times in a good group (i.e., healer keeps HoTs up and rest of group doesn't run out of HoTs for dumb reasons).

    If you are of the opinion that armor and healing are not worthwhile support buffs and increasing group DPS is more desirable, there is a case to be made that "kill stuff faster" is just about always the way to go in ESO. But the 1.1 second duration seems fine for something that triggers off HoT ticks and I don't think has a cooldown.

    I tested this gear in the Vet Darkshade Caverns II.
    Honestly say, not so effective in that time.

    Maybe, my team people might be too much glass damage resistance.
    (Tank was quite squashy than my healer)

    If you are not proccing it constantly you are not keeping up your heals enough.

    The more hard the content, the more practical this set becomes.
    Darkshade Caverns II boss mech maybe(i have long year not do base game part so i not sure) do 3-4k or 7k 1 hit
    RGHM boss/mini mech one shot is 25-29k
    base game dungeon not really hard,so any build will happen
    but trial hardmode alway have a dps check,so they need give up armor to do more dmg
    you are hard feel effective because 4k dmg * 6%=240 ,so in your test only highest 240 damage reduction 4k very close 3760,right?
    or maybe your group dps is a solo build so they are very tank,6% for group is unimportant :D
