Why more nerf cries?

I think its an unending cycle that people continually will complain for one skill you nerf that and then they just complain for the next skill. Do you ever really reach a point where no one is complaining about any skill, I've never seen that before in any game? Is it best as a GM / Dev to just ignore the complainers? I say yes the devs know what is best the players don't and only see the game from their perspective since they are biased.

For example I don't see any DKs saying Dark Talons root should probably have a 2 second cool down on it...

Agree with your sentiment but this part is wrong.

There are lots of DKs saying it. Can ping them if you want.

The reason is that pvp has many underlevelled people in it who believe they shouldnt die so easily to veterans. Many many players are running around cyrodiil between levels 20-40, thinking the buff should protect them from being smashed into little pieces.

The other spectrum is the players who power levelled to veterancy and believe they are on the forefront of whats wrong with this game.

I agree with the OP, and I really hope that the dev's will understand this as well. It will never stop unless moderators will take actions.

I already said before: Most complainers dont even ask for strategies in the first place nor do they post a video about the particular issue they have problems with. You get no info about the circumstances and the overal situation in which they claim something is 'wrong'. Instead they shroud possible weaknesses in their current builds and behaviours against the broad playerbase.

Of course if something is bugged or exploited (i.e. used in a way not intended by the dev's) it has to be reported. And a fair discussions about strategies against certain builds is always legit. But the differences in abilities is what makes the game shine in this regard. I am convinced that Zeni made a fairly good job here.

While it's hard to achieve balance, and yes some people will always complain about certain things.

That does not mean they do not have legitimate concerns about anything, or that tweaks shouldn't be made to achieve a closer balance.

I think bash and blocking are far bigger issues to the state of PvP than talons though.

The devs im sure will know who the complainers are and who bring legit concerns about unbalance to the table. Im sure they see actual raw numbers on what abilities are used the most, what are not used the most etc etc. Its been a month and a half, time heals all wounds..

Totally agree with the OP, even though I have to admit I was also in the bandwagon to nerf vampires. But I think ZOS is a big part of the problem, because they don't really communicate with community. When nobody really knows what's going on, people tend to come to the forums to vent their frustration. Still I think we currently have surprisingly balanced pvp for a new game, and I'd like to see small buffs to classes where devs see it fit to balance, rather than nerfs.
