Lost guild listed items after taking a break

I usually play on both NA and EU servers. I took a break from the EU server and when I logged on of course I had been kicked from my trade guilds. But what I wasn't expecting is that none of the items that I had listed with the guild were in my mail as canceled items.
Is it supposed to work like that?
I've lost 60 listed items as a result of this. I would expect canceled items resulting from a guild kick to be preserved in the e-mail indefinitely until the player logs back in and has a chance to recover them.

✭✭✭There is, unfortunately, a very short window of time for system mails such as collecting items purchased from a guild trader or collecting returned mail. If you do not collect within that window of time, the mail and item poofs out of existence.
A change nobody asked for and literally everyone hates, but was forced upon us because this supposedly, somehow, helps ZOS's backend servers work less hard or whatever the technical reason given was...PS5 NA. ✭I've never really had an issue with the e-mail timers before, but I do take issue with this. Guild listing returns should not have any kind of timer started until the person logs in again and has a chance to do something with them.
