0 Shards of Writhing Bone (Caltrops skill style) after 156 dailies

I'm not trying to be a grump here, but I really want the Bone Caltrops. I've been trying to farm it. I've done 156 daily quests in the Siege Camp (yeah, sorry, I'm partially responsible for ZOS turning down the progress percentage LOL). I've got 6 for the baby Mota, but 0 for Caltrops.

Is it dropping for anyone? If so, from which coffer?

    One hatchling from 24 quests so far so the drop rates are... not good.

    I don't think those drop until we're on Phase 2.

    Did about half that many, got 4 Mota Hatchling items, 0 for Caltrops.

    Your RNG is more blessed! Well, at least I can give all my friends and their moms spyglass and flag furnishing recipes... :D

    Thanks for the explanation. Three hours of dailies and no fragments was disappointing.

    I completed the haj mota pretty quick with crafting dailies on alts. I think there should be plenty of time for most slower grinders too. If not the price will drop soon enough.

    The website says the collectibles and items dropping during the event (other than the title) will still be available afterwards:

    They can be found in gold / blue reward boxes and sometimes in the chest awarded for finishing siege camps.
    I’m getting 2 per day so far.

    Well, I have more luck than you. I got one so far! Seems RNG is working as intended. Nothing new, nothing different, just another day.

    I will give you the opposite end of the spectrum, just to show the potential. Yesterday, PC EU (on 7 characters): 8 caltrops fragments.

    Did all 24 dailies on 3 characters and that yielded a single one. On the other 4 characters later I mostly skipped the fetch quests and got 7 fragments in the course of the evening.

    I got 2 of them off a guy for 10k each lol, looked in the guilds to see listings and people tryna sell them for 500k+. I put them in for 250k each and they sold pretty fast, this is on xbox NA. I seen what the style looks like and its basically normal but different colour. I was expecting actual bones on the ground.

    Caltrops fragments drop only during Phase 2 and on. They were not in the loot pool during Phase 1. Your rate will be off if you’re counting daily quests from before your server reached Phase 2.

    The only started dropping during phase 2.

    can anyone confirm if the shards of writhing bone drop from the blue coffers or just the first yellow ones for the day?? The new skill style is the only reason i'm playing this event so don't wanna waste time farming if there's no point :/

    I've been getting multiple every day, including from blue coffers.
    @MorvanClaude on PC/NA, don't try to trap me with lore subjects, it will work

    Awesome thanks! I've opened a ton of blue ones and haven't got any but I suppose I'll keep trying then lol
