Crossing the Wall

"Crossing the Wall" quest became avalaible with the Writhing Wall event for those that have completed the Part 1 storyline of Solstice. From what I've read, it's a transition from Part 1 to Part 2 story. From the story point of view, is it supposed to be completed before the Writhing Wall dailies, during the event, or after the end of the event?

My guess is that this quest acts as a lead-up to all the Meridian Lens stuff during the event (the invention of the concept itself needed to break the Wall) and so must be completed before the active stage of the event, where these lens are presented as something already known and in the stage of construction. But I am not sure because I haven't started it yet, and I don't want to complete it out of place. So if anyone completed it already, can you tell (without the spoilers) where it fits in the story please?

Yes it seems like it was supposed be a prerequisite for the event daily quests or at least a lead into the event rather then being tossed in-between everything making it a narrative mess same as all the daily quests being available all at once making whole "camp" a mess also.

Is the quest supposed to be completed now, or do we have to wait until Phase 3. I cannot find any info on how or if it completes, if it's bugged or whatever. I just assume it's a static quest for the dailies/quests until event completion.

Narratively it leaves us at the camp, preparing, so it's "tbc" of sorts, same as the "holiday" quest that's just hanging up until next week or the end of an event, probably as a marker to get "unique title reward" after it's being done.

How to finish this quest? There're no quest marker on the map.

I completed all the parts that are currently available on all of my characters. It's a short chain that only took around 20 minutes. Plus, we get to hang out with Darien.

I picked up that quest yesterday from Prince Azah and I could not pick it up on any of my alts, so only on one character cos he was gone after that. Im wondering if this quest is account wide. I hope it's account wide cos ive been doing all the prologue starter quests from crown store on all my alts. I dont like the event much but I still do all the dailies on all my alts too but yea could not pick up the prince Azah quest for the ww on other characters.

Hi Silver bride. Are you referring to the quest just outside where we pick up our ww dailies? I had already completed the main solstice questline but then I got another quest from Prince Azah just outside the camp where we meet skordo the knife and raz and the other daily givers.
Just making sure I'm not missing out on something. And I must say I always had a thing for Darian 😂

The quest is available as part of the Solstice main quest chain, so in order to pick it up, you have to have done the main quest.

Hey, Recent!

There are two ways to pick up this quest chain, which is part of the zone story.

There is an NPC next to the Sunport Docks Wayshrine that sends us to speak to Prinze Azah at the Rampart Camp. Or we can skip talking to the NPC at the Sunport Docks and just go directly to Prinze Azah at the Rampart Camp, at which point the Sunport Docks NPC will no longer be there.

I don't know if we have to have completed all the previous zone story quests for this quest to be available because I had previously finished all these on all my characters. But I was able to do it on all 7 of my characters.

Is "Crossing the Wall" going to be a permanent quest that we can do outside of the event? I'll not be able to play through Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1 to unlock it before the event ends. I'm still working on some previous content and don't want to play out of order, nor should I have to for something I paid actual money for. Bad enough I got major spoilers for Solstice quests I have not done just by playing the event quests. I do plan to jump ahead to the limited-time Writing Fortress for the title since there's no real alternative there. Is there anything from the event I'll be missing out on if I don't speedrun through the Solstice storyline?

So, right now I have 2 quests active.
1 - "Crossing the wall" with objective: "Support Sunport Rampart Camp"
2- "Support the fellowship" with objective: "Help the war effort"

Both have no markers and both quests indicate to aid the fellowship. My guess is that we just need to do daily quests & wait for the event to progress to another phase.

I just hope that "Crossing the wall" won't get auto-failed if the event progress further....

Some official confirmation would be nice. Are we just supposed to wait & have the quest in our journal or something glitched ?

I believe these quests will remain in our log as long as the Writhing Wall event is going on to indicate that we are still supporting the camp and helping the war effort by doing the daily event quests.

May I ask.... what if I did not completed the main quest in Western Solstice? Will I have the possibility to grab the "Crossing the wall" quest in the future (when the Wall event is finished)... or not? Is it possible that I will not be able to do this quest, so no memento for me ? Right now I can't grab the quest, it requires me to finish the main quest in W Solstice...

@ZOS_Kevin Please I'd like to know if the Crossing the Wall quest will be available once the event is over. I haven't finished Part 1 of the Western Solstice storyline yet. I'd like to know if this quest will be available once I finish Part 1 of the Western Solstice storyline, when the event is over. Thank you.
