Allow Friendly sparring(dueling)

It would be so helpful. I'm convinced extended chains isn't extended..allow sparring.
Need to figure out how to catch that sorc who uses BE waaay too often?..allow sparring.
You have friends who are DKs and you're caught in talons A LOT?..allow sparring.
You want to see just how much your fire damage spells do against a vamp versus a regular mortal?..allow sparring.
RIFT did it...simple invitation..so and so would like to sparr with you.. do you accept?..[yes]....[no]...Allow sparring.

Tannakaobi✭✭✭✭✭Agreed, but in designated area's. I think of it as dueling though. I'd like sparring to more fist fighting, another thing entirely.
I'd like to see fist fights like in Skyrim as a mini game with leader boards and a separate skill line and combat ui. Ideally level should have nothing to with it so potentially a level 10 could beat and V10. Again, in designated area's.1 -

✭yea thats cool too..dueling is what I meant. Dueling would allow us to nail down bugs and be better able to report bugged and exploitable skills as well.
Id like to be able to duel a sorc friend to figure out what works best against them.. Im a DK cloth mage vampire..Im sure friends would like to duel me to find out what my general magika and health pool is at vet 8.
I would also like to theory craft and test which spells actually build my ults the quickest...Allow dueling.0 -
prana33b14_ESO✭✭✭Set up an area to duel in cyrodiil. Let them work on other issues. Games I played with community driven "dueling" areas. DAOC, Warhammer, Lotro, Aion (had in-faction dueling but people still sparred people from opposing factions in areas). Probably a few more.Edited by prana33b14_ESO on 13 May 2014 23:350 -

That's because it has been an issue in other games. And the trade function doesn't attract the idiots, a dueling option does. Go figure.

✭If they add it to the pie menu thingy that'll make it hard enough..You have to ask ppl to stand still so you can trade with them in this game.

✭well...in Rift it was like that too..always someone with the best gear asking everyone to duel..and a proper place would be nice..a hangout arena of sorts to test your builds but id love to test my build and combos on my templar BF..you know..be able to test stuff without having to look over your shoulder for the zerg in hide mode :P0 -
beravinprb19_ESO✭✭✭If anything, I'd like to see dueling become an important part of Cyrodiil. Construct an arena somewhere in Cyrodiil, and have PvP disabled there unless it is triggered by a challenge or something. If you win, you earn some alliance points for yourself and some points for your alliance. ✭In Age of Conan we would set up our own matches and we would stand across a pond from our enemy and were told if we fired on the enemy we were out of guild...then ppl would sign up for a roster..and duel accordingly..and eventually winners would duel winners until there was one...it was a lot of fun.0 -

There are already several areas for duelling - WoW, Rift, Neverwinter, etc. Why don't you go and utilise them?EU Server.0
