Apocryphal Gate not generating crux on sprint

I don't know about the morphs, but if you sprint through the gate it will teleport you but refuse to generate crux. I assume if sprinting would avoid crux generation it should also avoid the teleportation too, since the tooltip does state "each time you teleport".
