Question on the upcoming Xbox live changes and how it affects eso

currently I pay for GP ultimate at 14.99 but as you probably know that’s going up to 22.99 shortly

They offer a GP basic at 6.99 which as far as I can see is exactly the same as what I get now but without streaming and day 1 games

They offer a mid tier which is 12.99 which I think offers “some stuff” and the obviously the full 22.99

My Question is, what’s the minimum Xbox GP level in their new structure I need for eso to work

It might differ in different countries, but at least in the US, ESO is included in the cheapest Game Pass Essential. So, that or the new mid-tier Game Pass Premium should work for ESO.

I've beeen on standard (now premium). I might knock that down to essential on the next billing cycle.

I changed my plan to the cheapest yesterday you get 3 months for the same price as 1 month ultimate its a no brainer if you mainly play eso.

I always assumed that the reason ESO requires PS+ or Game Pass is because the game's "built in" voice chat piggy-backs on the console networks' voice chat system (albeit rather poorly).

So the lowest tier required to support party chat is all you need (on PS it's the basic/essential tier). But Xbox has some wierd wonky rules these days, so <shrug>.
