Any chance that the livestream can be added to Twitch.tv/bethesda's schedule page so that us non-US people can see the livestream time converted to our local timezone?

The fact that there is a mitigation at our end is not really a justification for ZOS to not add a scheduled stream to the schedule overview on their own Twitch page, in my view. That's what the page there for after all, and they do add some streams.

Can anybody tell me how to use the schedule though? I've been wondering for ages... for me it shows 09:00 to 15:00 in GMT+2, and there seems to be no way to scroll earlier or later.

So it appears we need a Twitch account to watch it.

I shan't bother then, I have zero interest in Twitch.

Hmmm... I'm sorry, but they did not answer the biggest question console players have regarding the event.

How are consoles able to compete to be the first to complete the event when PC gets a 2 week head start on Phase 3 of the event? I can already see all 3 platforms having Phase 2 completed around the same time and just waiting on U48 to go live. But then PS/Xbox getting knocked out of the race because we have to wait 2 weeks for U48.

They made it a point to repeat that everybody gets to start Phase 1 at the same time and how fun it will be to see who gets there first. But then suddenly become light on the details about finishing.

    Really really uncool.

As a PC player, I'd personally be okay if the start of Phase 3 were delayed on PC until Update 48 gets released on console. I'm not sure why console releases are always 2 weeks behind PC releases, anyway.

We definitely need more clarification on the race. Are we just seeing how fast we can do it in comparison or is it going to be a real-time race?

Personally; having all platforms compete in real time would be really awesome for promotion.

If this was my studio, I would have leveraged a secret announcement like
    Crossplay’s release date
upon completion of the race as a lot of major games media would have covered it, but what do I know. 😁

If crossplay was ready, that would be a cool idea. Unfortunately, it isn't. No secret announcements this time. :(

We are checking in with the team to clarify some of the questions around the event timing. Will follow up once we have confirmation from the team.

Rewards are beyond disappointing. We went from notable homes, nested boxes with attunable crafting stations to a purple lizard bear. How did this happen?

I am honestly baffled as to why you appear so opposed to this suggestion... Whether ZOS posts an upcoming stream to the Twitch schedule page or not has no detrimental effect whatsoever on your own ability to use Google as you clearly prefer. So why do you react so strongly to deny others this simple thing more suited to their preferences? Or am I misreading your intention?

Hopefully things line up for everyone, if they don’t it’s not the end of the world, just another easy win left on the table. Thanks for the reply, btw.

“Crossplay’s release date” was the caliber of secret announcement that I was suggesting, not the announcement itself…

All eyes are going to be on ESO’s Writhing Wall event if done right, those are the times to advertise, yes? If this event ends with nothing but a title and a congrats to whichever server, I guarantee there will be nobody watching out for next year’s event.

    to be fair,
the only zone event that rewarded a notable home was Summerfall in 2018 with Psijic Villa. And we are already getting the notable Chapel of Julianos in q4 events via event tickets.

we just had a Golden Pursuit campaign in August that gave us one of each attunable crafting stations, the chapter events did not give Jewellery stations.

i like the Wall event rewards and sure i could understand wanting more, but look at the rest of the year beyond this event too.

The Deadlands was not a notable home but it sure wasn’t a purple bear lizard and surely creative people working for a high fantasy game have the imagination to come up with something new and different but equally impressive. Even if it was just a rehash of the golden Companion equipment that dropped once.

There is just little to no effort being made by ZOS. I guess when you have an over abundance of players, you can afford to drive them away to get the population down to just those who appreciate token gestures for a months worth of hoop jumping and fetch quests.

It really is such a shame to see lacking rewards still being such an issue, especially now. The design teams put in so much amazing work to get this off the ground; I wish the rewards were commensurate. I'd have expected some cool reward at each phase. A mount at phase 1, fine, cool. Phase 3 though - we should be getting a castle or something. But, that'll probably wind up in the crown store months after.

@ZOS_Kevin are the rewards locked in?

I’m still confused about how much of all this, which clearly consumed a large amount of time and effort just evaporates in November and what is actually being permanently added to Tamriel. Probably won’t know until it actually starts but going from Western Skyrim, Blackreach and Markarth in one year, Blackwood, Fargrave and the Deadlands in the next to here’s a beach with big shells and more beach with big shells and some repurposed Coldharbor assets is a very discouraging drop in quality and effort. And we’re going to charge more. This isn’t shrinkflation. This is closer to fraud. They won’t be fooling me twice.

It’s my understanding that there is only one limited time, once-only event quest that will start at either the end of phase two or three, I can’t remember now, but it’s in the recent video, that will last for seven days and then be gone for good. This special quest will award a special title. This will not impact someone else doing the zone quest in its entirety later; this quest not being there won’t impact the story zone quest. There was a lot more in the video about the rewards.

Edited to add: if I understood it correctly, the new dailies that are about to open up will never go away, along with the rewards that they can give. If I’m wrong on that, someone please correct me.

As to free awarded homes, in addition to Grand Psijic Villa I have:

    Antiquarian's Alpine Gallery
    Doom Char Plateau
    Sword Singer's Redoubt
    Seabloom Villa
    Haven of the Five Companions.

There may be more I missed.
So, they haven't been stingy with rewarding homes.

Seabloom Villa isn't free, it's just an amazingly awesome deal.
Basically cheaper than the 750 crown pack, but with more crowns and a free house on the NA and EU server. :)
