7 classes x 21 questions

No, I will not do that. I have a lot to say about the classes. I have played them all as tanks and damage dealers, and a few as healers. I have many thoughts about how sub-classing has impacted the classes.

But even if I could generate thoughtful answers in 2 minutes each - 5 HOURS!

No, No, No, No, No

tl/dr - your survey is flawed and will provide meaningless data

18 of the questions are the same disagree/neutral/agree, and those can be finished in less than a minute since it's the same questions each time. Honestly the data from those aren't going to provide much other than a general ranking, and I doubt ZOS is only going to make decisions on those alone.

The real questions where you can provide real meaningful feedback are the last 3 questions where they let you write out thoughtful answers about what shouldn't change about a class, what should change, and any general feedback you have about the class. I don't see any reason to complain about it since those 3 questions are exactly what people want. It's the same as leaving a feedback response on the PTS threads, but hopefully this time, class issues will actually be listened to.

"I have a lot of feedback about all the classes but I don't want to spend time providing it."

What are they supposed to do with this? I agree the survey isn't perfect, and I don't quite understand the focus on individual classes in the subclassing era, but I spent some time filling it out, including some thoughts about how each class stands on its own and how subclassing affected each class. It did not take anywhere near five hours.

Any actual suggestions about a better way for them to go about gathering feedback? I mean really, not trying to be rude. I don't have the answers, but I'm personally glad to see them trying something after all these years. I hope the survey gives them something useful to act on, or at least helps them come up with better questions and more specific things to focus on (and that they take time to communicate back to us what they take away from the survey and what the next steps that result from it might be).

It took me about 25 minutes, and that's only because I wrote a soliloquy on NB dps and my woes regarding arcanist subclassing. Even if you don't have time to wax poetic about everything, you could just pick the classes you have the most pain points with, and hopefully write about those.

This is not just for the OP, but in general: it's really important that people take the time to do this--the community that's actively testing and discussing class combat is already small, and while there's a lot of knowledgeable players and content creators, it's not healthy for the game to only have a few voices on this, because everyone's perspective is biased. For instance my perspective was from the dps endgame side of things, but someone who plays arc or NB in, say, group BG modes, will have a different viewpoint, and it's good for ZOS to get as many of these perspectives as they can, so that they hopefully have somewhere to start in order to deal with the situation that has been created due to subclassing.
