Magic carpet for console

Hi all wandering if the magic carpet addon on pc will be made available for consoles would be great feature for easier housing construction

I doubt it can be done as console addons got limitations in memory and control creation (= memory consumption), as well as runtime of addon data etc.
As Magic Carpet seeems to crete many controls automatically I really fear it would fall below that restrictions and make the total addons unload then on your console.

Magic carpet as a standalone add-on does not create many controls. So it should be able to be ported somewhat easily. Essential housing tools also iirc contains the magic carpet functionality, and that add-on is enormous, it's absolutely never gonna be on console.

Ah okay, I thought that Magic Carpet addon was mass-creating the controls why you are jumping around.

Addon description also says so

If you have the required furniture items in your home, inventory or bank, Magic Carpet will automatically assemble your "carpet" - or, if not, just grab the required items shown for any of the modes and try again. There are a number of low cost options including a single "Rough Planks, Wide" item or a selection of the "High Elf" carpets that can be used to get started quickly.

Once your Magic Carpet is started, just jump in the air and move about. Your Magic Carpet will keep you afloat and allow you to quickly and easily get anywhere in your home - no building necessary.

My assumption was that is goind to be a problem on console.

That is a furnishing item, not a control, and it's also just moving it. So no control is created, displayed, or moved.

Afaik there aren't any additional add-on console restrictions around moving furniture around.
